Delicious vegan food at reasonable prices. I highly recommend the vegan risotto. The vegan curry was OK, but the risotto was definitely a winner for me.

good and fast service. several vegan options on menu as long as they want tofu. the nasi goreng with tofu was very tasty. also the fish and the chips of my sohnes were very good.

I stopped by The Sun Inn while in the area. The staff was very welcoming and the beer selection was fantastic. Although we didn't eat, the food being served looked delicious. Definitely a must-visit spot when in Pooley Bridge.

Have had two fantastic meals out with family at The Sun this month. We tried several plates from the new vegan menu, mains and dessert, which were all outstanding. Highly recommend The Sun to those who want plant based food that isn’t just fast food options.

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and the pizza is delicious. My husband also enjoyed one of the beers they had on tap. The prices are good and the location is convenient. However, I have to give it 3 stars because the tables need a good cleaning and they should be more diligent about picking up cigarette butts.

our meal in sun inn exceeded expectations. not only the staff about the beautiful, the eating was fresh and tasty and quickly came out. my partner is omni, so that to find a good country pub in the north that served its hearty favorite, while offering a great selection of vegan options is a massive victor for us. would I have received 5 stars if I could!

After reading the reviews, we were excited to try something different like a tofu or bean curry, or tofu fish and chips. We were hoping for more options than just the typical veggie burger that many pubs offer as their vegan choice. The staff was very helpful, but the vegan menu was limited to a burger, sausage, or pizza without cheese (they did not have vegan cheese). The desserts were underwhelming, with only vegan ice cream available and even the fruit crumble made with butter. There is definitely room for improvement and it would be nice to see more creativity put into the vegan options, similar to their regular menu. While I am only giving 2 stars for the food, the service was excellent...
