"The place is great,food and service fantastic,just one complaint,my friend has an illness where she can’t drink alcohol we enquired did the have non alcoholic drinks (wine,lager etc) they said no so we asked could she bring her own to which they said yes and they would charge £10 corkage,to say we were taken aback at this price is putting it mildly,a small price would be acceptable but this was ridiculous actually more than the wine cost. It was such a shame as we can’t fault this lovely restaurant in any other way ,the ambiance,food staff is faultless ."

"I was in the area with a friend and we were looking for a place to get for a quick lunch. We found La Mancha and, initially, we were the only ones in there, but decided to give it a try anyway. Once inside, you'll be welcomed by a quaint atmosphere, with a colorful and eye-catching décor. It does remind me of my own Latin roots. From the table we were seating, everything felt like a authentic Spanish location. Even the street outside gets feels like completely different place, than the busy city beyond the buildings that surround it. There was Spanish music playing in the background which was at the ideal volume, loud enough to cover any background or street noise but quiet enough that it doesn't distract or covers your own conversation. Anyway, we have ordered a couple of dishes each and I must say, we weren't disappointed. Everything was fresh and tasty and completely on par with the look and feel of the restaurant. Prices were quite good and we were satisfied with the overall experience. On the downside, this restaurant might be a bit tricky to find as it's on a narrow side street, but it's definitely worth it and I highly recommend it."

"The Waterside is a luxurious, warm, friendly restaurant. It is perfect for many occasions, from a romantic meal for two, to a family gathering or celebration. The venue has a number of high-backed booths that provide a sense of luxury, as well as a degree of privacy. There is an extremely well stocked bar that has a wide range of quality beers, wines spirits. During warmer months there is the opportunity to dine al fresco with a number of outdoor tables set in a lovely garden with excellent views. However, perhaps one of the best areas to dine is in The Waterside 's 'Cabin '. This is a wooden building that brings cosy to a whole new level. With a feeling of a Swiss chalet, it has it 's own bar, heating, Bluetooth sound system, enabling you to choose your own music, and provides the opportunity to host private parties, works dos, family gatherings or, in my instance, surprise 50th birthday celebrations! The food we had was delicious and the service was exceptional. The waitresses who looked after us worked their socks off and no one was waiting for drinks. They were attentative but in no way intrusive and helped build a great atmosphere. With great food, drinks, service and venue, I can 't recommend the Waterside enough. They fully deserve the #1 spot on Trip Advisor for restaurants in Littleborough."

"Our second visit was even better than our first and that was great! My wife and I visited the Puckersley with friends who live close by. It was our second visit and we remembered that the food was good. A new menu had been introduced just that evening (Friday the 13th) and I noticed a selection of “Rice Bowls” from which I chose the King Prawn option. I can’t fully remember the menu description but it was something like “Salt and Pepper Spicy King Prawns Rice Bowl” MY GOODNESS! I have eaten in some fancy places and never have I been more surprised and delighted by a dish than I was that night. It was served beautifully, the prawns were lightly battered like Tempura prawns they were on a bed of egg fried rice surrounded by a lovely sauce containing goodness knows how many different chilli peppers and beautifully diced vegetables. It was even more enhanced by some greenery (sorry, i forgot what it was) which reminded me of a lightly fried rocket which just melted in your mouth. The dish is a TRIUMPH and must not be missed. I look forward to trying the other versions of this dish on our next visit and we will certainly visit again. Our friends ordered steaks which arrived cooked exactly as they requested which is unusual in itself but not, our friends say, at the Puckersley! My wife could only look enviously at my bowl but fortunately reported that her Scampi was excellent too. The waiting staff (All girls as it happened) were very happy, smiling and extremely efficient too. DO NOT MISS THIS PUB, IT IS A GEM."
