I would like to thank the staff at Steeton Hall for my father in laws wake on Tuesday 31st August. They couldn't do enough for us and were very professional on the day. We took their funeral package for 30 people. There was more than...enough we even had boxes for guests to take food home with them. Highly recommended thank you .

We absolutely love this restaurant. We have never had a bad meal here. The Sunday carvery is fantastic, with generous portions of meat and a choice of delicious pies. Recently, we also tried the sirloin steak and it was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time - cooked to perfection. The staff are all lovely, the setting is wonderful, and the prices are reasonable.

what a joy! I really have to praise the owner and the staff in steeton hall. they have gone beyond our expectations in every respect. we had a slight problem for which katie, the manager, made good and true changes. my sister, my mother and I had the most in the afternoon and it was absolutely beautiful. the food and the service were perfect. I would recommend a visit. thank you again

The carvery Sunday dinner was absolutely excellent. The meat was beautifully cooked, with a selection of beef, ham, pork, and lamb (I had everything except the chicken). There was a large selection of perfectly cooked vegetables. There was also a special jubilee offer of £7, but even at the regular price, it is great value. The staff were very friendly. If I didn't live 5 hours away, I would be here every week!

I had a very pleasant stay at this restaurant for 4 nights. The room was bright, airy, and clean with plenty of hot water. The food from the restaurant was hot, well-presented, and had a good selection to choose from, although the service could be a bit slow during peak times. It seemed like they were understaffed, but the staff were very polite and accommodating. Overall, I would happily stay here again. It was a great experience.

I had the absolute pleasure of being married at Steeton Hall hotel. I have booked evening meals, lunches, socialised with friends and watched sporting events on many occasions in the past here. They have great owners and staff that never fail to make me feel...welcome. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff and a lovely dose of light humour. Lovely afternoon tea at Steeton Hall. Sat in the conservatory which was lovely as it was a sunny day, nicely furnished. Choice of sandwiches, lovely savoury treats (particularly enjoyed deep fried wedge of Brie) A super selection of desserts, fruit scone with jam and cream,...cream filled profiterole, Bakewell tart, all delicious. This is very good value compared to other afternoon teas I have tried, portions good and nicely presented. All staff were courteous and efficient. Can highly recommend

We were staying here as we were going to Bolton Abbey for a wedding,the room was spacious and clean,my complaint is at breakfast you serve yourself with tea and just have a small teacup. If you are taking breakfast in the conservatory you have to...walk back and forth,why not have beakers for people who want more than a few sips from a small teacup also if you are going to have coissants and pastries keep them covered, there were quite a lot of flies around,so that's not a very healthy way to eat breakfast,it is just common sense to keep them covered and so easy to implement Hopefully notice will be taken of my review

Celebrating a family wedding. Booking online via the website very straightforward. As we were travelling 4 hours I’d rang to see if we could book early checkin as mentioned on the website. I spoke to a very pleasant member of staff who said she would...get someone to call me back, never received the call. Luckily when we arrived earlier than the 3pm check in our rooms were ready so no delay in booking in. I would mention that all rooms are upstairs and there is no lift. One of our party has mobility issues and although he managed to go up the stairs in his own time I cannot recommend for disabled/mobility impaired guests. Pleasant rooms, we were in room 2.
