"We visited this place around 2nd week of Jun17. I am a vegetarian so the food choices were limited for me. But to my amazement the food served was too delicious and tasty. Do not expect good with lots of masala i.e. mix of different spices which are used extensively in Indian food. My friends were eating non veg and they liked it. I had Onion Soup and it was so awesome that I am yearning to have it in Hyderabad. I have figured out a place in Hyderabad but not sure if it is the same kind of soup they serve there. Our primary purpose was to have a different type of beer at a different places. The service was surely very good. The place is not that big but they could accommodate quite a lot of people. We saw many older locals visiting this place and enjoying too.Overall I would say a must visit place. I would upload some pics taken there of the food and beer too."

Nice restaurant near Holiday Inn Hotel. Good ambiance, great staff, excellent service. The rump steak covered in grilled onions was cooked perfectly and very tasty. More food than I was able to eat but very satisfying.

To be honest, as we were just looking for a place to eat in this remote area, it was just the place we found. I am glad that we did this because everything is German, the food drinks and the mood. we enjoyed it. it is near the hotels.

Nice neighborhood restaurant with a very quaint ambiance. Excellent service, with a wide range of entrees, good selection of local beers and a full service bar. The mixed meat platter was very good - though other plates coming out of the kitchen looked very appetizing.

we had luck staying in a hotel near this restaurant. it has a very local and comfortable feeling, and eating that we ate was delicious. I ordered the icy bone on their menu offered and it was great. I had never arrived before and was not sure what it was until they served it. I would have liked to go back for another meal, but we were not in a position due to our timetable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

While staying at an hotel for business trip i have searched tripadvisor and got the name of restaurant. It is easy to find, staff welcomes you and have also english menu which is a good asset. Weissbier is good at standard, tried mixed grill, some of them were not soft grilled but above average. Potatos were from oven with some onions and cream, really delicious. Wine with meal also accompany good. Prices are intermediate, I advise you to try!

We were staying at the Holiday Inn near Tegel in prep for our trip home the next AM and since it was Sunday evening, we were concerned about our chances to get dinner - at all. My husband found this restaurant on Yelp (yes, the American version - it worked perfectly!) It was open, and we were hungry, so we walked a few pleasant blocks up the street to this charming, friendly, welcoming traditional German restaurant. We had a wonderful meal of draft beer and Schnitzel, topped off with a huge "eis" cream sundae -which we split. Great meal - happy memories!

We were lucky to go to this restaurant during Pfefferlings (a type of mushroom) season and had a fantastic pfefferling schnitzel. It tasted great. This restaurant is not a tourist restaurant but looks like a local favorite. It has existed on the same spot for over 100 years (2010 was its 100th anniversary) There is a small patio and they have many rooms that they must rent out for events. We saw a poster for an Oktoberfest dinner on September 28th. we only wish we would have been here to attend. They seem to have a great breakfast menu as well as well as books to read and toys for kids to play with if you bring your family. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Berlin West it is a short walk...

that was our last meal in berlin, and it was delicious that we wanted to eat again in berlin! we chose this restaurant mainly because if it is close to our hotel, holiday inn only on the street. the restaurant was bright and cheerful... inside, and the staff was friendly and patient with our limited German language skills. the food was very tasty and the portions were very big! I went for the wine carving with mixed vegetables and boiled carrots, while my man had the house special: huh, pork, steak, and a sausage similar to a hot dog but so much better (and I'm sorry I don't know the actual German name), along with roasted carrots and mushrooms. have I mentioned that everything was excellent...
