Spice Lounge - Carte

The meal was ok, nothing special. The chicken tikka in both sauces tasted off or was a very bad quality. Has put me off chicken.

Had an enjoyable meal but it was a Saturday lunchtime and we were the only guests so felt a little rushed as they wanted to close early

I found the staff to be extremely helpful in helping me choose a meal, due to my allergies I have to be very careful with some spices I found the meal to be very tasty, ample servings of everything I ordered and the price was exceptionally reasonable

Went there with the family for my birthday 4 adults and 2 children. Got served quickly but food was just average. Curry could have been hotter as only like warm. The service was ok the waiters were quite rude seemed to have no time for chidren. cannot say it was brilliant.

Friends brought us here for a meal as they use the restaurant regularly. The food was delicious and there was a vast amount of choice on the menu. The portions were generous, so go hungry! The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We could see why our friends think so highly of the place. Voir le carte

Visited on a Saturday night into an extremely hot restaurant which they only turned the air con for a minute it seemed. Pretty slow service getting the drinks and food was very average. My wifes korma lacked any flavour apart from gritty almonds and my chicken curry was just spicy hot again no real flavour. Nice naan bread and rice though to go with it. Would not rush back in a hurry.

Very bad customer service since original owner has moved on,wanted to order a delivery and soon as I said where I lived and not in Chatteris he responded with sorry we haven’t got a delivery driver,so went to pick it up and was very disappointed with the amount of chicken in my wife’s dish,I’ve been going to this place since the day it opened and now won’t bother,terrible attitude by the staff

We have eaten 5 times now at the Spice Lounge, and unfortunately, the only conclusion is that the quality of the meats, Chicken, Lamb and beef are all far below standards with respect to the facts that they are all so very dry, in particular the Lamb and chicken, dry and chewie. We can not fault the high standard's of service, friendly and incredibly polite staff, and the restaurant is clean fresh and a pleasure to sit in. However to us its clear that as they are able to serve the food in a incredible speed all within 10 min of sitting down, it tells us that the meats are all pre cooked and heated up thus producing the dried out meats and simply not enjoyable to eat the meats.
