"We tried the new menu during lunchtime today, and it was a real delight! The gluten-free options were excellent, and I chose the fish and chips. It was delicious! The large, flavorful fish came with minted peas, and the chef’s special chips were outstanding! The homemade tartare sauce was the perfect finishing touch. My husband ordered the Shin Shiraz Steak Pie, which he found to be very tasty as well! We received a warm welcome from all the staff and felt well taken care of. We will definitely be returning! Highly recommended!"

1st time, we went mid lunch Sunday, lovely place, lunch not bad, could be hotter and roasties not as good as mine, peas not cooked. But for a carvery not bad, will be going back in a few weeks as very convenient for where I live Service: 4 Location: 5

I just got back from the Woodman's after visiting based on the positive reviews. However, I must say I was quite disappointed. I ordered the creamy garlic pasta dish, and it was so bland and tasteless that I couldn't even finish it. When I told our server, he simply smiled and took my plate away, which I found to be an inadequate response. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning.
