"As visitors to Wisbech, we initially struggled to find traditional pub food. We then found the Red Lion and could not fault it. The bar area was busy, but the staff managed to find us a table. The food was top quality and the portions very large. Also a pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. In fact it was so good that we returned again 2 days later. If you are in the area, give it a try."

"The food at the restaurant was delicious, but I was not a fan of the practice of immediately placing a large quantity of poppadoms in front of us without asking. They charged us for the poppadoms, even though we didn't request so many. In the future, it is best to clarify if you want poppadoms and how many you would like upon being seated, as the cost can add up quickly. Despite this issue, the food was still excellent."

"We just returned home from Coyote Bar in Wisbech. I booked a deal on Groupon for this restaurant, which is located down a quaint cobbled lane off the main street. The staff were very friendly and polite. For starters, we had the chicken strips which were freshly prepared fillets that were juicy and succulent, served with BBQ sauce and a side garnish. For our main course, we ordered the t-bone steak which was cooked perfectly to our liking. It was a refreshing change to have such a good quality steak, and it could be served with a jacket potato or chips, onion rings, mushrooms, and tomatoes. It was the best steak we've ever had. Although the desserts looked delicious, we were too full to have any. We will definitely have to go back to try them soon. I highly recommend this place for excellent value for money."
