Fantastic food, very friendly staff, our waiter was really helpful in advising me which dish to choose. Will definitely revisit, highly recommended.

Fantastic tasting food. We were staying just around corner so got a take away, but was super busy so I’d recommend booking a table if you want to eat in!

Probably the best curry me and my wife have had. Wonderful staff. Very welcoming. I recommend soooo much. They were very accomodating and we enjoyed a great pint of Cobra as we waited. Which wasn't for long.

We spent some time looking at various reviews for other Indian restaurants in the area and we decided on Sonali. We certainly weren’t disappointed. We asked for a table last minute and they squeezed us in. The restaurant was busy which is always a good sign. The staff were lovely and the food was piping hot and delicious. I would most definitely recommend Sonali and well worth a visit if you’re in the area. We will definitely be back.

Ordered a takeaway and the food is shockingly bad. Ordered the butter chicken and lamb rogan Josh. The butter chicken had a skin on it from the amount of cream and the chicken was thin and cheap, I didn’t even attempt to eat it, only tried the sauce. The sauce was sooooo bland with no taste of curry it was just cold cream. Probably the worst takeaway I’ve ever received and we were only 10 min drive away. The rogan Josh had a really weird aftertaste. Overall experience was nowhere near enjoyable and a waste of money. Voir le carte

Visited 8pm on a Saturday night and restaurant was busy as usual. Always a good sign; we booked late afternoon to secure our table, which was ready for us to be seated on arrival. Waiter quickly brought over our drinks. As much time as we needed to choose from the extensive menu. Wanted to try something new and waiter very knowledgeable about the meals, nothing too much trouble. Food came quickly and didnt disappoint. Absolutely fabulous. There are three Indian restaurants in Hornsea and having tried them all, feel this is by far the best.

Ordered a takeaway from this place sat and waited 30 mins no problem. Ordered onion bhaji starter, butter chicken ,chips chapati and poperdom with pickles, drove home ten mins then found out no onion bhagi in bag so informed restaurant, started my main meal chicken and the only thing it fed was the bin,thier was no chicken mainly sauce and that was disgusting its was a shame that I covered my chips in the sauce ,I would not recommend this place to anybody And before anyone says anything I lived in India for four years , that's nearly thirty pounds I will not see again

We stumbled across this place after booking cloud 9 nearby for a Mexican meal, they no longer do Mexican food! They quickly accommodated our table of 7; 4 adults, 2 teens and 1 child. We were out to celebrate a 40th birthday. Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food arrived quickly and was red hot. Every single plate was empty, an accolade in itself! The food was some of the best we’ve ever tasted, flavourful, cooked perfectly and more than adequate portion sizes. The staff then made a huge effort for the birthday girl, sorting out the cake we had bought and finishing off with a special birthday drink.
