"Food drinks: There has been a refurb and a change in menu since we last visited, and now, to mum's delight, they do have a separate gluten-free menu. As always, the staff are very friendly and approachable, and mum said the gluten-free fish and chips were the best she had tasted in a long time... high praise indeed! The lamb gyros was also beautifully cooked, and we will definitely be back in the not too distant future! Please note that the pub is only open for lunches Thursday to Sunday (something that has caught me out on more Mondays than I like to admit to! . Also worth a visit are the alpacas that live in the field behind the beer garden... it's always nice to see them!"

The food is excellent, the staff is lovely, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. This place is fantastic for families, including pets. Service and location both receive a rating of 5 out of 5.

I took my son out for a Sunday roast and we were both impressed with the freshly cooked food served hot. The high-quality meat and perfectly cooked vegetables were a hit with us. We didn't have to wait long, which was a bonus. The pub had a great atmosphere and the staff were very polite and accommodating. We will definitely be returning soon. I highly recommend this place.

Today, we were turned away from The Plow after visiting a nearby pub because we had an 8-year-old with us, despite having made a reservation. However, this turned out to be their loss and our gain, as the staff at The Shrewsbury Arms were incredibly welcoming and impressed us greatly. The service was fantastic and the roast dinner was delicious. Thanks to them, our Sunday afternoon was saved.

We’ve been staying here a few times this summer. The pitches are large and the facilities modern and clean. The pub is welcoming, clean and stocked with a good variety of beer, ales and spirits. We’ve eaten here many times and can highly recommend the menu. Favourite dishes have to be the Black Pidding starter and the Brioche icecream Burger dessert. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. Service: 5

I absolutely loved the food and dessert at this restaurant. It is a fantastic place to go with friends or family to enjoy some food and drinks. We ordered bangers and mash, cottage pie, and fish and chips, all of which were delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is also very convenient, as it was close to our camping site. I would give the rooms, service, and location all a rating of 5 out of 5. This hotel offers great value for the price.
