"We came, we lunched, we rolled out Went to the Sherborne Arms today with two friends and our dog. If you are looking for a spit and sawdust establishment that only sells rough cider and mouldy pork pies served by a miserable landlord then this is NOT for you but if you are searching for a charming, friendly English country pub in a pleasant setting serving honest food at reasonable prices with good beer you cannot go wrong booking a table at the Sherborne Arms at Aldsworth. One of the beers on offer today was my all time favourite Timothy Taylors Landlord so ten stars for that and when I chidded the landlady for not including a crumble pudding on the menu I was quickly told that if I wanted one I could have one. Twelve stars for that. We all enjoyed our meal and the dog got a free chew so everyone was happy. Thank you for being such great hosts. PS Whilst here why not go just down the road and visit the Upton Smokery and Farm Shop. Every time I visit I spend lots of money on smoked chicken which is amazing."

I went to this restaurant for lunch today and had a delicious squid dish. My wife enjoyed the chicken jalfrezi, which was also very tasty. The owners of the restaurant were kind and friendly.

Unobtrusive good service three private parties we have had here in last 12 months. The side room is perfect, comfortable, spacious and a well organised buffet meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans HAPPY. And the dogs were welcome too. Voir le carte

This is a handsome old stone pub in a dell below the road. We sat in the sun in the front garden which had attractive flower bed and enjoyed the lovely Cotswold views. The food looked good and we will use this as a stopping off point again.

This pub is absolutely charming and very well managed! We had such a great time here that we spent both of our evenings during our mini getaway at this place. The food is outstanding and the owners are delightful! They are so friendly and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. Voir le carte

A return visit for a pre-planned buffet lunch in the function room was everything we could anticipate. We were welcomed with the buffet all ready for us and friendly service by a most cheery waitress.Barman was equally freindly and efficient so we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.Thank you all for this.

We had a wonderful Sunday dinner at the Sherborne Arms today. The menu was fantastic, with plenty of options for all three generations of our family. Our 4-year-old daughter especially loved the children's menu. The pub was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Thank you! We will definitely be returning.
