The menu is very interesting. So many items sounded so different it was hard to decide. The sea bass was fantastic. Our server was great. Will definitely return

Best meal I've had so far this year. We ordered the fried spinach, (2) servings of rolls with the delicious melt in your mouth honey butter and the salmon with a side of Mac and cheese. It was SO delicious and the service was excellent. I never would expect a classy bougie place like this in a strip mall.

Great ambiance and service. Nice menu with some interesting/different choices. Would have preferred come regular cocktail with the the good shrimp but the fruity stuff it came with was still good. The sea bass was excellent as were the artichokes it came with but the risotto was way too salty. That said I would still come back in a heartbeat. Voir le carte

Regarding the food: the pizzas looked appealing, but unfortunately, they didn’t taste very good that night. Some of our friends tried a piece of each pizza they ordered, while the rest were left untouched on the table, which says a lot about their quality. On a brighter note, the mac and cheese was quite good and delicious, and the egg rolls were also a standout appetizer.

Stopped here for dinner with a business group and left totally impressed. The bar area is impressive (see picture) and the service was great! I ordered the Thompson Tenderloin and was impressed with how tender, juicy and tasty it was. If you are in the area and hungry for a steak you won't find a place much better than this. As for the food, we tried the shrimp cocktail; it was decent with good texture and large shrimp, but my husband and I both felt the sauce was just okay. I would have preferred a cocktail sauce with horseradish. Our main dish was seabass with artichoke, which we really enjoyed. We also had a side of mushroom risotto, but it was overly salty—I could only manage a couple of bites, and my husband felt a bit unwell after finishing his half. If the risotto had been better, this would definitely be a five-star experience, but that really detracted from our meal. Voir le carte

However, I noticed a few things that felt a bit off. It was a little uncomfortable watching servers walk through the new waiting area with customers' food orders, and it felt strange to walk through the pizza kitchen on the way to being seated in Sherrie's Happy Place. We were informed by the staff that the ambiance was meant to be reminiscent of a speakeasy, but it actually felt quite bright and was accompanied by somewhat loud pop music. Again, these are simply my observations and opinions. Personally, I prefer the restaurant's seating area for its more romantic feel, and I will definitely return for the amazing food!

Lessons learned: When you order a steak from here, you're paying a premium price for a low-quality meal. I ordered a Ribeye and received a steak that looked like a New York Strip. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I took a bite to make sure. Immediately, I knew it was a NY strip. It was tough and lacked the flavor of a ribeye. I asked the staff to replace it with a new steak. Staff refused. They insisted it was a ribeye. They said it was an end piece, which is why it was tough and flavorless. Either they served me the wrong steak or they served me a flavorless, tough, end piece. The facts are: I paid a premium price for a low-quality meal. I did not eat another bite of the steak. I had a great dinner here. Friendly, approachable service, an eclectic menu with everything from tamales and seafood pozole to steaks. I started with the McCoy cakes with walleye from Lake Michigan, sweet peas, and carrots. They were tasty. Two to an order. I thought they might be too burnt when they came out but they tasted fine and had a good crust. The complimentary bread rolls with the tomato vinegar concoction and honey butter were great (though perhaps a tad doughy on the inside though I still enjoyed them).
