Would definitely recommend Sebastiano's. We hadn't made a reservation but they managed to accommodate us. Warm welcome from friendly and attentive waiters. Delicious bruschetta to begin with followed by risotto and pappardelle. We were going on to a concert so no time for the delicious desserts others have mentioned. Next time!

Thank you TripAdvisor. !!!!We ate here after reading the previous reviews and felt we found a little gem. The food and service were excellent, possibly the best Italian food outside Italy. The owner was very attentive and welcoming, you were not treated as a tourist Should we come back to Vienna it will definitely be on our to do list.

if you're looking for a sweet and cosy place to have beautiful italian food - and if that was not already plenty - in a lovely courtyard if the weather permits, then you're right at sebastiano's. delicious pappardelle con gallinaccio (wide egg noodles with chanterelles) in a gorgeous creamy sauce make me want to come back for more, time and again. in cooler times, the interior is nice and cosy too, but in summer the culinary experience is topped by a special treat for the eyes: the courtyard is so lovingly decorated that it is hard not to feel at home.

We had dinner at Sebastiano tonight at the recommendation of the AirBnB owner of where we are staying. The dinner was very delicious and it was a relaxing, cozy atmosphere. The service was great and friendly. In our party, we all had souls for the first course and then for entree, we had the Penne pasta with Italian sausage (the waiter said it was spicy or hot but it wasn't too spicy/hot - just had a little kick), spaghetti with pesto (the pesto was a warm one and really tasty), Calamari, and the Bistecca steak. Everyone loved everything they tried. The menu had lots of seafood options too. We did order the variety dessert plate that had small portions of each type of dessert. They were real...

This is a very welcoming warm and friendly restaurant. The menu was presented on a large slate - in Italian but the waiter was happy to translate into German. It is a small menu because all the food is fresh and mostly home made even the wonderful Pesto. My partner had a generous portion of Calamari which he found perfect - I opted for a pasta with pesto and Prosciutto Crudo - there was a little too much saltiness in the sauce which may have had a touch of MSG and that spoilt it for me - the chef's creaitons here appear very good and do not need excessive salt or MSG. There is a good selection of wine and staff are keen to ensure you are happy: I found the Wiener Gemischter Satz a touch too...

We actually walked by on a Monday night and it was closed, so we made plans to go back (without reservations).We were quite lucky as they were able to seat us immediately. We tried the spaghetti with pesto sauce, the steak papadelle and the grilled squid. Of course, we tried the sample dessert and decided to add an order of tiramisu (because it was so-o-o good)All in all, the food was impressive, we especially liked the grilled squid. The spaghetti (with pesto sauce) was tasty but the pasta is too soft.The dessert sampler gave us a chance to try different things on the menu and we decided to order an extra portion of tiramisu.Oh, what can I say...... we have had tiramisu in numerous other re...

First of all, Sebastiano is not a specifically FAMILY (small Kid's) Restaurant. We have been there very often before , always highly satisfied, but this time we were close by (at 6pm) with our (lively) Kid's 6 and 8 years old. We wanted to get them accustomed to a good decent restaurant where they cannot run around... and ????They behaved ! The reason was the service and the food. First of all everything was explained nicely so they could also understand and second, special wishes were also (within reasons) satisfied. I had the Calamari .... ohhhhhhh My son pinched almost half of it even as he had Penne Pomodore... (I pinched a little ,, very good), my wife had a Veal soup .... I tasted it t...
