Schloßgaststätte Wellenburg

last Saturday we stayed with our 2 children once again on a bike trip to the western forests and have put a stop at the castle restaurant. the sparerips were super-lecker and fresh and the service was also nice. we can recommend this locally and come back!

in a romantic environment lies the Schlossgaststätte wellenburg with beautiful beer garden. kitchen regional with Austrian one-stop. tasty white scavenger, tafelspitz and kaspressknödel. our group (8 people) also enjoyed the excellent desserts. very friendly and attentive service.

beautiful, large beer garden below the Fugger-Schlosse. self-service, friendly personal and Bavarian beer garden normalities and specialties. very conveniently located, for example, on bicycle tours along the Wertach. minigolfplatz next door. from here you can also find wonderful walkable and straightenable mixed forest areas. also worth seeing the old allee between Augsburg-Göggingen and wellenburg. Get an excellent lunch. I had already ordered the day before so that the food was there on time at 12.30. That worked great, to the minute. Even a small change in the supplement was very friendly and uncomplicated in the morning. We had pumpkin soup, casspatzn, schnitzel, duck and beuscherl. All dishes were hot and tasted very delicious. We are sure to order again and look forward to a hopefully soon visit to the Schlossgaststätte.

the terrace was unfortunately already in the winter quarter, yet we went into it after we had discovered a day card at the main entrance. our expectations were more than fulfilled: from outside crispy, inside well cooked, red cabbage juicy, dumplings simply good, sauce deliciously seasoned. and before we were able to express the wish we got a little more juicy! also the desserts sounds very tempting, as well as the further menu. but we were well saturated for today, but surely come back!

behind the visit was a family festival. it has also been known that there is cooked the gentile to upscale Austrian cuisine. the spits (watermelons – tomaten salat, carpaccio from the table top with tomaten and wobbles, the fantastic aser calf carving with lukewarm apples – gurkensalat, the shouldered, the noble fish top, baked, the panned chicken parts in the basket) were fantastic.The service around the gast was superb. all for an absolutely reasonable price in a beautiful atmosphere. recommend at any time. happy again Voir le carte

In the current time, the restaurant offers all dishes for delivery or collection. On the phone, I became aware of the great urge and thus a longer delivery period and therefore decided to pick up. At the agreed time the food was already ready. The handover took place outside at the Biergarten Theke and was very friendly, fast and uncomplicated. The food was environmentally friendly in packed and also at home warm. All three ordered dishes (drumbs, pork roasts and children's carvings) were very tasty, fresh and the amount more than sufficient. Thank you very much for the next time!

the castle restaurant is beautifully located at the end of a long allee. you have a great look and the beer garden invites you to take the walk and let the evening sound cozy. but unfortunately, the quality of the feeds will murmur the great outer impression. 4 weeks ago I had a curryworst that was in order, but not particularly good. 3 days ago, I had to wait a good half an hour on savingribs with pommes, which, unfortunately, have completely disappointed me. the meat tasted old and was relatiw tough, the pommes smelled after old fat and were fried for too long. the Swiss wurstsalat was in order, but seemed unloved. I like to come back to a razor, but I will fit in with them in the future.

the restaurant offers rooms and a holiday apartment, which can be booked online. here our experience: When we arrived, a reception was not detectable, so we talked to a co-worker whether we were right. the stressed dame only said that we would clarify this immediately and we should go aside first. nice reception! we were then brought up to the room and had to fill out the guest card there. we were then charged directly by the chef who received us more nicely. when we were alone on the room, we had to find that there was only one bed linen. so we went back to the gas room to order another. we got this straight, along with a colorful swing kissen. when we wanted to shower, we found only one to...
