"Dropped in three times recently after finding this hidden little gem. Twice in the cafe, good menu, clean, toilet and parking outside. Cakes and Scones and afternoon tea is a must, I have to confess that what we had inside prompted us to get paper bags full of cakes and scones to take away with us everything was so delicious and such a great choice. They do Quiche, salads and sandwiches to take away, hot and cold all very reasonably priced. The owner and staff are very polite and friendly, you couldn’t ask for anything more. Highly recommend 5"

Called in for a coffee and a scone. Had the toased cheese scone special with bacon. Totally brilliant. Highly recommended

Bacon baguette and coffee and scone to take out which I had eaten before I got home and it was one of the best scones I'd had.

Nice little cafe. I had a cheese and ham toastia that was very tasty. Mt Freund had sausage sandwich that was full of sausage. Totally good

Popped in for lunch. I got a festive baguette as seen them advertised online and had to try. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. Great smaller portions for kids too. Will definitely be back.

Had an initial mix up with dates but we ended up being well and truly beaten by the amount of food. Absolutely beautiful food and everything was handmade and so tasty. Would highly recommend and the staff were all so lovely. Thanks for accommodating us after the mix up it was amazing, especially at short notice

Superb calls this morning after a recommendation from a local. We had stopped at the Crown Wetheral, but were not willing to pay their extorted price for breakfast. We didn't want much, just a bacon sandwich. At 8 o'clock inaugurated to be welcomed by very friendly staff. We sat and ordered a pot of tea for 3 and 3 bacon rolls. Can't blame. What a beautiful place. Will definitely call again at our next visit.

An afternoon tea voucher from my old colleagues and wow what a gift they gave. The afternoon tea was amazing, everything was homemade and fresh. The Scones were fantastic! Sandwiches amazing. I want to die. There was so much food that we had to take away something, there was no way to end it there! The staff were all beautiful and you could see how popular it was, how the room was filled! I would highly recommend that I be sure to go back and will try to finish everything! Definitely a fabulous gift for someone! 10/10!
