Sally's - Carte

I visit this cafe every week. It is the best cafe in Carlisle. Sally and the ladies working behind the counter are delightful. The food and cakes are delicious and affordably priced. I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10.

We were due to arrive at a friends for a get together but were early so made a detour here. I was delighted to find Sally’s open at 9:55 a.m. I bought scones and cakes which are always delicious. It is great to be able to buy dairy free treats.

Fabulous little cafe just off the A69, it’s well worth getting off the M6 making the short detour to get good food delicious cakes The blueberry lemon scones are a sheer delight. Excellent service, we’ll definitely use Sally’s again when travelling north will be recommending to family friends. Voir le carte

My mum ordered a birthday cake for my 50th Birthday and my Nephes 30th Birthday. Wow what a beautiful cake. It was chocolate heaven. Jam packed with all sorts of different chocolates. The cake was so fresh and tasted amazing. It definitely made my day so much more special. Thank you Sally your team

Welcoming. Staff lovely. Accessible cafe. No steps. Accessible toilet. Parking outside. Scones are there speciality. Cheese , Christmas , fruit , raspberry and white chocolate , etc etc. Savoury cheese sandwich wow. Christmas scone and bacon wow. Probably one of the best tea rooms ever. A must visit.

The exterior may not be impressive, but this restaurant offers delicious lunch options and excellent service. You can customize your sandwich, roll, or panini with a variety of ingredients from a lengthy list. They also serve tea in traditional teapots and cups, making it a recommended spot for tea lovers. Called in at lunchtime today, both got jacket potatoes with filling, as we had spied the cakes on our way in, we thought it would be rude not too, so my friend had the chocolate brownie, I just had to have the sone with jam/cream…got to say they didn’t disappoint….lovely place and friendly staff..will definitely be back, left with full bellies

We stopped by this quaint cafe and immediately felt welcomed by the friendly service, engaging conversation, and delicious cakes. The scones were exceptional, freshly baked by Sally in the kitchen. We particularly enjoyed the fruit scones and ginger, which were some of the best we've ever had. We look forward to returning to try more treats on our next visit to the area.

Found this little gem by chance as I had arranged to meet a work colleague for a quick catch up on the A69. when I arrived the place was mobbed with happy chatty customers, But the staff quickly cleared me a table and helped me select a lovely home made spicy tomato soup, I also had one of their own sausage rolls that they warmed up for me, My workmate joined me and had a lovely traybake and piping hot earl grey tea. The service was fast and the staff were really friendly and chatty. Prices were very reasonable, The choice of bakery products is extensive. I will be back. Voir le carte
