"the restaurant saigan is located on the corner logenstaf and railway. after her gps to the restaurator, she leads past parking. the restaurant itself is small and cozy, with some traditional figures and pictures on the wall. I ordered immediately. the pho-commo of chicken and bark meat with fresh garnel spring roll and jasmin tee. the service was prompt to get out with the jasmine tea first, then springing rolling followed by the pho. the garnel early rolls were fresh and tasteful with erdnus sauce. the pho came about minutes after the order, and the broth was excellent. the bark was thin and the hunch was nice pieces of meat. overall I enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back."

Excellent service. Excellent Pho. Excellent spring rolls. Overall excellent experience. Don’t usually give an overall star review but this place is worthy. A must visit.

Excellent overall experience! The Pho was delicious, spring rolls were great, and the service was excellent but that could be due to me being the first one there. A must visit. Voir le carte

the place has new peculiarities, and the most obvious change is the quality of the pho. it was something of the best, now it is best on average. still eating decent, but not as great as it once was.

my wife and I ordered the jump rolls they were delicious. the pho was the worst we had so far. no taste in the broth small pieces of bark meat no meatballs I a picture for their reference. it was cooked in a round water with noodles. I wouldn't serve anyone. I make pho and I know how hard it is to do. avoid this place when they are looking for authentic pho.

Have to say that...I are there so much i started to get a bit tired of it....but I always had something different and it was always yummy! Voir le carte

I was very impressed with presentation of my dish. The service was very professional and very. I ordered a seafood soup with was seasoned perfectly. After my delicious soup I had squids and vegetables which looked fantastic and tasted even better. I seen another customer...eating the fresh spring rolls which looked very appetizing and will be oredered on my next visit. Can't wait to try other dishes on the menu. The only negative thing about this restaurant is there are not to many tables. It is a small place.

I've always wanted to try this restaurant and finally I did while on a business trip. I was welcomed with a very friendly and very professional young man. I absolutely love the vegetarian crunchy home made eggrolls as Entrée I followed by a Chicken...dish with mild spicy coconut and vegetables, absolutely Delightful.. I went a second time and had again my favorite eggrolls with a rice noodle dish this time, again, wonderful service and excellent fresh home made Vietnamese cuisine.. Definitively my place to go back next time I am traveling this way.

"Holiday, nice weather and still what to do in Kaiserslautern. We planned our start in Kaiserslautern with a light lunch. We visited Ayame for the first time 3 years ago. It is located in the former JVA Kaiserslautern, which was converted a few years ago into the Hotel Alcatraz. A Japanese restaurant fits well here, because the Japanese garden borders directly on the building. We have free parking in the courtyard. Schlichter hotel entrance, only hidden hints at the restaurant The way to the small restaurant leads past the reception. At 13.45 we entered the small restaurant with few seats and hoped to have a seat. Open until 14.00. A long-term construction site on the way to Kaiserslautern forced us to a rather large detour. We were the only guests, were warmly welcomed by a young man. Our question whether we get anything else to eat was kindly hunted. So we took a seat in the small, Japanese-style dining room and got the menu. Optic hasn't changed much since our last visit. Everything is clean and well maintained, bare tables. Daylight only illuminates the room. Unfortunately, you can't look outside. . The menu surprised me. She was partly handwritten and so completely different from my memory. Due to the advanced time, we decided very quickly: 2 large mineral water € 2.50 Foreway to crumb: Edamame € 4.20 For both of us: Sushi Menu € 13.80: Miso Soup, 3 Sushi Nigiri, 4 pieces Hosomaki, 8 pieces Uramaki Our drinks came immediately and well cooled. A good portion of the salted soybeans a little later. The hot beans in the bowl were a tasty crackling beforehand. The young man supported a (his? wife in the open kitchen. Here I was able to observe how the Misosuppe was tasted and the lady freshly prepared our sushi. That made all a very good impression. View into the open kitchen The steaming soup with tofu insert tasted mild and yet aromatic according to the Wakamealga. After a reasonable waiting period, our sushi were served. Very appealing. The 3 Nigiri classic with salmon, shrimp and tuna. The “Makis” pefect rolled, very good in taste. Overall a good portion, we were pleasantly tired. There was really nothing to complain about for the price. Sushi Menu The young man was very attentive, but to expect from two guests. In between the question whether everything tastes. Wasabi, soy sauce and ginger were handed down. In the case of numbers, the solution for the significantly different menu. The young Japanese couple only took over the restaurant a few weeks ago. This also explained that some processes have not yet been very routined. Stay to hope that the small restaurant will talk to friends of Japanese cuisine. Despite proximity to the city, it is very hidden in the building complex. Running is not coming over here and not every hotel guest likes Sushi. The toilets belong to Hotel Alcatraz, are modern, very clean and well maintained. Restaurant and toilets are walkable and without stairs."
