"We regularly have Indian takeaways and we can honestly say that this is the worst one we have ever had. We ordered a chicken tikka masala and a korma. We assumed the chicken tikka masala was the bright red one and the korma was the yellow one. They tasted exactly the same! They were both grainy, completely tasteless and the chicken was chewy. One of us nearly broke a tooth on the first and only bite of the onion bhaji, it was like a rock! The Naans were thick and dry. Gutted that we just wasted money on a meal we were looking forward to. We should’ve checked the other reviews on here before ordering. Very disappointed!"

Awful, tasteless food. Onion Bhajis if thrown could have knocked someone out they were like bricks. The worst takeaway ive ever had. Wont be repeated. Steer clear if you know your Indian food.

Had a delivery sent out and the order was wrong with missing items and other items added in their place. The tandoori chicken was very salty which was a disappointment as the last time we had a takeaway from here it was nice.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant and will not be returning. I ordered a sheesh kebab but received two sausages instead. I do not recommend this place as the staff were rude, handling food without gloves and with greasy hands. Avoid dining here. Voir le carte

The staff was extremely friendly and the food was plentiful and delicious at a reasonable price. Convenient street parking made it easy to stop in and order. Additionally, the fact that they were open on Christmas Day was greatly appreciated and very exceptional.

Delivery time is very slow. Last two deliveries have been 1 hour 20 minutes and 1 hour 25 minutes when they advertise within 60 minutes. Food is quiet nice but the chilli specials are mild with no spice or kick at all. Chips portions also very small would need two for one dish

Below average. Ordered a hot jalfrezi and a madras for delivery and both arrived with sides very quickly but could not tell the difference between the two (and we know our currys). Both very runny, as in soup consistancy. Chips, rice, naans and mixed starter where great but currys terrible. Sorry guys Voir le carte

Beware!!!!!!!!!!! Madras and samba far too spicy, it’s ridiculous!!! we love spicy food but cannot eat it. You are going to kill somebody with this pisstake of spices! Paid good money for this!! Even the butter chicken is spicy, what’s going on ? What a waste of money!! Samosas are vile and onion bajhis are rock hard! Rice is great in the plus side. Warning- don’t bother with this place, nothing less than evil!!!!!!!!!!

The restaurant was decent, we had a good time. I ordered the lamb saag and it was delicious, the rice and bread were also tasty. My husband tried the balti and thought it was unique but decent. My daughter had the tandoori chicken starter which was alright. The popadoms and dips were different and not the best, but overall it was decent for the price. The spice level was fairly mild, so you may want to request it hotter if you prefer. We picked up our food within 20 minutes. It's a good option if you're staying nearby and aren't too particular about your curry.

"Whenever I get the inclination to write a review it’s usually because it’s so good and I want to shout about my experience to everyone… however this is not my usual 5* recommendation! As locals we have visited this cafe on a few occasions for breakfast or a coffee stop. It’s a great location, nice decor, dog friendly and delicious food. What’s not to like? Well, the staff, or more specifically the owner! She lacks any customer service skills, she smiles through gritted teeth, orders her staff around while she stands observing (or waiting for an argument . Each time we’ve visited she’s had an issue with something. Once she argued with me because I asked for my latte to be served in a cup rather than a tall glass. She proceeded to try and educate me on coffee making (I’m barista trained ! She reluctantly gave me it to me in a mug with a jug of extra milk which wouldn’t fit into the mug anyway! More recently we arrived, it was quiet, and chose to sit in the window (the largest table as we had our dog and didn’t want him to be in the way. She rushed over and demanded we sat at another table because she “couldn’t afford for us to take up a larger table”. We moved without an issue but she was very confrontational (as always and made the rest of our dining experience uncomfortable. So uncomfortable in fact that despite being ravenous we almost didn’t order. The cafe remained quiet throughout our time there, plenty of empty tables and yet she proceeded to use the larger window table to accommodate her staff, herself and a friend who popped in. How is that fair? So my advice to you as a fellow catering/ hospitality manager is… Learn from your Trip Advisor feedback, Book yourself on a free customer service course and lead by example and if you are worried about costs reduce the number of staff. 5 staff on duty in a cafe that seats approx 25 people at full capacity is not needed. Maybe the owner should put her feet up at home and let the lovely younger people do their thing. They all look so nervous around her and are almost too afraid to speak. I’m sure they’d do a far better job without her monitoring their every move. Even the Chef (her husband maybe? looks petrified of her!! Certain people are not cut out for customer facing roles and she is one of them! I’m pretty sure she doesn’t read any of these reviews as she’s been like this since my first visit 5 years ago!! What a shame. This place could be a thriving business and a welcoming village cafe but I’m sure her confrontational attitude and unwelcoming nature put people off from returning. Such a shame as the food and coffee are delightful"
