Fantastic dog friendly pub, they allow your dog in whilst eating.. Food is incredible and very reasonable prices.. Landlady very chatty and can't do enough!.. We also had Sunday dinner all cooked to perfection!

Popped in on a Sunday and I had the pie and wife had beef and pork sunday lunch. Both meals were fantastic and you could tell they were homemade. The staff were really nice and friendly. Will definitely be going back. Voir le carte

Great friendly pub came in for drinks and ended up having tea nothing was too much trouble the wife asked if they could do a prawn salad as was not on the menu and they came up trumps it was spot on deffo be coming back

Excellent again. Came here by chance last year. This year it was a definite part of our break. Lovely pub, great staff but above all fabulous food. A Roast above all others. I would recommend this pub to anyone who appreciates good English food. And the sponge isn't bad either

Fabulous atmosphere, very friendly, fantastic food, with excellent staff. Everyone was really friendly and chatty, it’s a real treat to eat here especially with the delicious offerings from the new chef. Extremely dog friendly the staff even come round with treats for them and spend genuine time with them a lovely touch. Voir le carte

First time we have been to this pub...what a lovely pub, such a lovely welcome from the landlord, you feel right at home soon as you walk in,we have a static caravan in Bridlington and had been recommended by friends to try the Rose and Crown and we definitely wernt disappointed fantastic pub, great atmosphere,lovely staff,and the food was homemade and absolutely delicious we will certainly be going back soon ...Thank you for making us feel so welcome

Had lunch here today and wanted to write and say how lovely the whole experience was. Kind and attentive staff . Cosy and festive atmosphere. We had Christmas lunch which was really delicious with big portions and all fresh veggies. Delicious cauliflower cheese! I had mushrooms and then turkey which was as good a lunch as I’ll get anywhere this year! My friend had the salmon and soup which she said were homemade and perfect. Such a reasonable price too. All round this is a fantastic place run by lovely people. We will be back

Went most days of our recent stay at fantastic Thornwick! Absolutely brilliant place, the best in the village by a mile! Warmest of welcomes received, with superb menu quality food, generous portions great value for money. Drinks were cheaper than our local, again, extensive choice, well kept served with a smile. Fantastic varied music to suit all ages playing in the background, adding to the great atmosphere. All the staff were fab, but wanted to give a big shout out to Ocean in particular, who went above beyond was truly dedicated, recommending menu choices giving me the name of the album/artist that was playing.
