"Absolutely brilliant!! For a village pub, this one is superb!! It looks very welcoming from the outside, being built of the local honey-coloured stone, and has a lovely 'feel ' inside. The quality of the food is excellent, portions are plentiful and the beer is pretty darn good too. Inside the building is sort of split into two, there 's a bar area with seating at the front and a dedicated dining area to the rear which is a little quieter, not that the bar is at all rowdy but it could be on a weekend?! We intend to be regular visitors as its well worth the 20 minute journey from where we live."

friendly professional staff with great eating and atmosphere. I had cooked the 8oz sirloin steak medium rare and was cooked to perfection and my mrs had the cheeseburger that she said was amazing. price right. 100% would recommend.

right country pub with large sitting garden and ample parking. large interieur, with good in the floor with glazed view harbour. great, friendly service, good eating to reasonable trips. will go again. recently changed hands and was tastefully updated. Voir le carte

We turned up without booking on a busy Sunday but a table was found for 2 of us. We were served promptly and had an excellent carvery be aware that the “regular” portion is large. A wide range of beautifully cooked vegetables. (Broccoli and cauliflower could have been cooked just a minute or two longer) otherwise a satisfying meal.

absolutely beautiful pub! the food was delicious and the atmosphere and the service were excellent! just what I would say is that is something overpriced compared to other pubs in the opposite, especially the kauty garlauch brot, that is clearly a previously bought baguette with some cheese loaded at £4 and was not especially garlicky! but everything else was excellent!
