Roasta Preston - Menu

The menu had a good selection of dishes the food was fantastic and excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and hospitable.

I was delighted to see Roasta reopen with an expanded menu. The food was fantastic, and we received a warm and enthusiastic welcome, along with a thorough explanation of the menu.

We called in for lunch on Saturday. The food was delicious. We had duck pork belly and spicy lamb dish. This was with sides of egg fried rice and homemade noodles. You must visit this place you will not be disappointed. We will be back soon.

Inspired by Jay Rayner's glowing review , we popped in for lunch and weren't disappointed. Really delicious pork and duck , fried green beans and homemade noodles. The lovely lady who served us was very helpful and informative and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. Very simply decorated and unlicensed but a great place to go for some of the best Chinese food we've ever had.

The food was amazing with a wide variety of authentic Hong Kong style roast meats. That, coupled with a traditional iced ying yang drink (coffee and tea mix) brought me back warm memories of home and it’s exactly what’s needed on a cold dark winter night. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and I’ve enjoyed our lovely little chat. This place is truly a hidden gem, and I shall revisit again whenever I travel up north.

The best authentic chinese restaurant in Preston with the best chinese roasties! Crispy chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy. Trio of roasties is delicious crispy pork, roast duck and char siu tasted just like in HK so highly recommended. Dan dan noodles and the malay fried rice was nice. Fried tofu in blackbean sauce was also yummy. Braised beef is also recommended, very tender. The customer service is amazing. Family run business, friendly and polite. This is a gem in Preston and I would recommend this place.

We had the most amazing lunch at Roasta, by far the most DELICIOUS, authentic Chinese food we've ever had. We ordered trio of roast meats Duck, Char Sui and Siu Yuk pork. Roasted to perfection and full of flavour. That crispy crackling on the Siu Yuk is heavenly. Even though we thought the meats would be the star of the show, the sides were just as good, if not even more delicious. Beautiful handmade noodles in flavoursome broth simple but so moorish. Green beans stir fried with mince pork and preserved olives I honestly would go back JUST for a plate of this! Finally, Tofu with spiced black bean sauce mouthwatering! Very generous portion sizes, reasonably priced for the quality of the food...

Hands down the best Roast meats Hong Kong style in the north of England, the little beauty is hidden away in Preston, Lancashire. The roast is done daily and is the best tasting duck and belly pork I’ve eaten in a long time. The belly pork is so crispy that if you have any leftover and take home, should you microwave it to reheat oven reheating is best) it is still crispy, doesn’t go soggy like majority of belly pork from restaurants all over the uk. The duck has authentic marinade that makes it mouth watering, they serve many HK delicacies that you can try, ranging from inards to fresh vegetables… the menu is great, the place is more like a cafe and has limited seating, they are constantly...
