Really the best in Dundee by a mile. Nice staff. Great food. The railway lamb masala is brilliant never change it! Also good value for the quality on offer.

Good food but very limited menu. Comfortable dining area until about 9pm when crowds arrive and destroy the ambience completely. This has happened both times we have been there.

Great food lovely friendly service. Four guys on a golfing trip. It was early so the service was prompt and pleasant. Starters and mains good size portions and very tasty. The menu isn’t huge but quality over quantity any day. Voir le carte

The front of house staff and menu have changed since I last ate here, but when I asked about their old dishes they were able to make them despite not being on the more simplified menu and the quality was just as good as before.

We stopped here on our way through Dundee for a lunch and everything was perfect paneer starter fish curry were best I’ve ever had. Rest of party had lamb curries which were also excellent. Well done to all the charming staff a great experience.

Absolutely amazing food. I had the railway lamb which had been recommended and it was fantastic. My wife had the paneer curry off the specials and she described it as the best curry she’s ever had. this is the best Indian restaurant in Dundee, we were in a table of 10, staff efficient and quick to take drink orders, and food orders, everything arrived hot and at the table same time, the food was delicious, the service was fantastic, all the staff are very friendly and helpful, even played birthday music for our birthday girl, everything about this place is immaculate. looking forward to our return.

My husband and I had a booking at Rishis, Dundee for 6.30pm. After being taken to our table, the waitress took our drinks order. Once we had our drinks our food order was taken. We opted for a simple starter of poppadoms and the chutney tray. As the waitress took our starter plates away our main courses were put in front of us. We felt this was a too quick as we, personally, prefer to have a 10 to 15 minute gap between courses. The food was okay but once our main courses were finished we asked for the bill. The whole evening had felt as if it was rushed. We were there no more than 45 minutes. Very disappointed.

We have eaten here these last two Sunday nights because it’s so close to Travelodge Central Dundee. It’s a busy restaurant but the manager and staff are very good at their jobs and we only saw happy customers. We enjoyed a bartenders special house drink Thiruveni no alcohol made with pineapple ,grape juice and ginger.Very nice. Masala dosas piping hot fresh crispy and well filled just as we have enjoyed in South India many times and served with Sambar, coconut chutney etc. I needed a pudding to finish and the mango and yogurt came in a glass dish and looked amazing. The dessert had a proper name which I can’t remember but it tasted exquisite ! So good we have to come back again. Voir le carte
