"this restaurant was recommended by a local as very good. when we arrived without a reservation, it was packed. we were very happy to get a table. the decor is typical of a Greek restaurant that offers a pleasant ambiente. the staff was pleasant and helpful. we divided grilled otopus as starter, which was quite expensive and slightly gumy along with taramasalata and pitta brot, both of which were edible. after that followed a fish plate for two that would have been much for four! we were overwhelmed, but eating was very pleasant, the fish included calamari rings, zander, lachs and smiling roy prawns, with much roasted kartoffels and edible pasta rice. there was much too much for two of us who prefer to spoil our dinner because we were overwhelmed by the crowd. the ouzo was pleasant, but the rosen wine wasn't that. we would visit this restaurant again, but order smaller or single portions!"

Nice and friendly, service was quick, a little rushed at fist but as we don't speak German it took some figuring out, then the waiter brought us an English menu, after that it was all good. Even got a free shot of ouzo each at...the end of the meal. Great atmosphere. Good food Good price.

The restaurant, only a short stroll from Passau´s pedestrian zone, is nicely decorated in Greek style. We were there with a group of 8 and were served quickly. The staff is very friendly, the portions are generous and food is very tasty. After lunch all...of us were presented with OUZO for free. We will be back. Definetly.

this Greek recovery is one of the best I have ever visited, enclosed in Greece. the decor was raised and the food was excellent. the dolmades were fresh, delicate and seasoned with the right lemon. my wife had the moussaka and she described it. as delicious. I had a hardboard with black jerseys, gyro and souvlaki. the flesh was not over boiled and well seasoned.

We arrived with large group and no reservation, but were able to be seated inside. However, the terrace looked very nice also. I had the Epidaurus-platte that seemed to have a little of many different things. It was excellent and way more than I needed...to eat, but hard to stop! Of course we had to try the Baklava; very tasty! A round of Ouzo and we had a wonderful time here. Staff was definitely from Greece and were helpful and attentive.

We were seated; the waiter swiftly brought us English menus, we ordered two beers and one platter for two. The drinks arrived quickly, and then we started waiting. Our waiter served everyone near us (all locals) passing us at least a half a dozen times....After noticing that people that ordered after us got their food and we did not, I signed to the waiter “what’s happening”, he did not come to us but a few minutes later another waiter arrived with menu’s saying they do not have our order. Mistakes do happen, but after waiting for so long we expected that our waiter would at least come to apologize. Not doing so, we decided to leave without eating, after sitting for nearly one hour. If you a...

"It was shortly before 10 pm and two other restaurants that had advertised having a kitchen open until 10 pm had already told me that the kitchen was, in fact, already closed. Roses was open and the waitress still let me order.I had the Cheesesteak 2 (steak, provolone, bell pepper, onion, mushroom), which came with a small salad dressed in oil and balsamic vinegar and steak fries. It was really a quality meal. The cheesesteak was one of the best I have ever had, and is definitely the best I have had in Germany. I could have eaten two. The fries were hot and fresh and cooked to perfection. The salad was OK, too - my only complaint there was that there were carrot and cucumber ribbons, which looked pretty but were hard to eat.If I remember correctly, the difference between Cheesesteak 1 and Cheesesteak 2 was sliced mushrooms, but the price difference was a euro. A euro seems a bit steep for a couple of pieces of mushroom, so if I return, I'd probably get the Cheesesteak 1 and save the euro. The other food on the menu sounded good, too.The waitress was very friendly and did an excellent job of managing the tables - at 10:30 p.m. on a Monday in winter, almost all of the tables were full and there was only one waitress working.Otherwise, the atmosphere was cozy - a shabby chic French café sort of place. Indie music was playing, and a little bit on the loud side, so if you're on a quiet date or looking for a place to meet up with friends and have a more serious conversation, this probably isn't it.Also, the beers are Hacklberger, but that's not printed on the menu - around here, there's always the risk of getting Graf Arco."
