Restaurant Werdguet

Good food, enough room to host two private events, historical interior. I'm a regular here for the Zurich Book Club. We meet once a month on a Wednesday.

varied and seasonal map, top service. beautiful terrace, fumoir with fine cigar selection available. over midday there is also a snack, which offers everything from burger to currywurst to fair trips.

today we were able to enjoy delicious asparagus in the sun. the lookout was also perfect. has almost reminded of an après-ski midday. was very nice, by the way, that they also wished for little. so the sparing were upgraded on request with Poulet-Brüstli. very fine!

the willguet is a farm house and is therefore also oriented towards large companies. Nevertheless, you feel that it is just homely and well.The eating is excellent, the chef is happy about special wishes and also fulfills them, the staff is very friendly and caressed.

Went at around 2pm, the restaurant was relatively quiet, with just another group of customers. The service staff were friendly and helpful. The lunch menu was limited as they ran out of some items, so we ordered 1 of each of the items available to share and they were all delicious!

It's nice to get traditional Swiss and Austrian dishes in vegan form we've all head plenty of vegan Asian food but at least in my case the Rösti was somewhat lacking not enough salt and a little bland. However vegetarian colleagues were happy with their dishes so maybe mine was just a slip up.

“Have the venerable ”have the venerable – with this slogan greet Hannah and Andreas slap their guests. And this feels the gast also in the service and in excellent food. Whether pizza, home cooking or Austrian speciality, in the weguet you are always looking for and that is very fair in the heart of zürich.

the restaurant is relatiw large, over midday mostly well filled and therefore relatiw loud. the card is quite (over)-fruit and offers such a large selection that you ask yourself how it can be fresh. the quality I consider to be average, many finished and semi-finished products are used. the service is friendly and in the regular fast, depends on how much to do. beautiful outdoors in summer.Simply ok for a meal without special expectations.

I love restaurants where I don't know what to eat, because as many dishes are delicious! that is clearly on the adguet too: delicious pizzas (Mezzo-Mezzo and “Mafia” very recommended,) always changing dishes, schnipo is obligatory, chefsalat is always an option, mcschobi as burger is already delicious, but since as a secret tip behind the restaurant also regular the Werdguet-own in the bisswagen has opened here is always something! the drinks and wine card round off the whole thing. who would like to go down in zürich and taste a typical, tasty züri gschnätzlets, or want to enjoy a good dinner reliably, is absolutely right here!
