"My friend and I found this restaurant near the Schloss Charlottenburg after attending a concert. Galija is the Serbian word for galley, and the restaurant interior has a nautical theme and a very pleasant outdoor eating area. The menu has dishes from the regions of the former Yugoslavia, and sure enough when I asked the waiter (the owner) if he spoke Serbocroatian, we had a conversation in Serbian. He also speaks German, of course. The food was good, moderately priced and the portions were more than generous."

We were there in July and they have brilliant food, nice staff, fast service, good location. If you are around by the Palace it worth trying out. Loved their pork medallions ( scheweinmedallions) and roasted liver. Voir le carte

While looking for a place to eat after touring the Charlottenburg Palace, we happened on the Galija. It had an extensive continental menu, including Middle European specialties, good service and moderate prices. Recommended.

Happened on this place simply as it was down a side road near the Schloss Charlottenburg. Wonderful find. Nautical interior led to a menu that instantly took our eyes to the balkan and eastern Europe section of the menu. A goulash was ordered and was a stunningly tasty and filling meal. One of those places you dont plan on going to but ends up being a great meal.
