Red Cow - Menu

Had lunch today new year's eve with the family. Service was fantastic soon as we entered the pub. Staff were great. And food was first class. Great pub in Somerset. Will definitely be back again. Thank you for being so welcoming.

really good public house with traditional dining and some more modern objects. there is no lighter menu for lunch. we were very satisfied with our decisions and the staff was very helpful, not least with nutritional incompatibility/allergy problems. a lot enjoyed meeting place to which we are happy to return.

amazing place hidden at the basic of the knoll good menu with clearly labeled vegan and gluten free options, friendly staff and good atmosphere. sat outside in the garden for an excellent starter, epic gammon and magnificent desserts (pavlowa and cheesecake) with the coldest ice in the world thatchers (gf) cider also, glad that I had to go back to my hotel, well fed!

What a fantastic experience! We decided to visit Unity Park and found the Red Cow, which came highly recommended for its great food. We were not disappointed at all. We had three steaks, kidney pie, and a turkey dinner, and it was some of the best food we've ever had. I would definitely recommend it to others. The staff was also very courteous and friendly. We will certainly be back the next time we're in the area!

I hadn't visited The Red Cow in a while. I was hoping it would still be nice! On entering I was greeted by a friendly member of staff and offered a nice table. The pub is operating very covid safely with good table service! The Staff were very pleasant and very welcoming. A lovely country pub to visit! If you are in the area, it's worth a visit. Nice festive decor and a calm pleasant atmosphere. That's the way forward for me as we approach Christmas!

landed in the local garden center, but not much of the limited food they served for lunch, so my friend had previously visited this pub and we thought we would try. when we arrived, it was quite busy and we had not booked, but the lady managed to find us a table. eating was nice and good price. I was particularly impressed by the homemade skyberry pavlowa (1st photo,) scampi (2nd photo,) röstbeef (3rd photo,) bier broken shn gordon’s (4th photo). the service was also great. I'm back.

incredibly friendly staff! excellent service and a real family run, rural village pub! extensive but concise menu with something for everyone. perfect location with a stunning back beer garden. allows dogs in the front and back garden. please consider that dogs are in it! I know several people who said they weren't going into this pub because they don't want to sit outside, but have dogs. they are incredibly dog friendly people who run the pub and I wish they would not allow a great pub to pamper! I know I would visit more often if I could sit with my best friend. 5/5 for everything else but! great food and service and presentation. thank you.

The staff members were friendly and helpful, but I was taken aback when the younger employee, who seemed to be new, expressed her difficulty in hearing over the noise. The bartender's response was shocking: he called her a “spastic” in front of customers. It left her visibly uncomfortable and speechless. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially coming from a man in his late 40s towards someone much younger who is just trying to gain experience. I feel it’s necessary to bring this issue to the attention of the owner of the establishment, as such toxic behavior should not have a place in her business, especially around young women.

For a MAJOR change from hot dogs, burgers and all the other staples offered by Brean we took a 10min drive to this great little pub sitting very picturesque at the foot of Brent Knoll. We had booked in advance, and just as well as it was very busy. Despite this our initial service was quick and pleasant. We ordered 2x roast of the day (turkey) and cheesy garlic bread with chips for the squirt. The chips were MASSIVE but obviously twice cooked as rhey were crispy yet soft inside. Indeed all of the food was well cooked and did not disappoint. The only negative for me was that as the pub was well booked, we were seated away from the busy main body and into what was clearly a bowling alley. With...
