"Went here on a Friday night, When booking they were struggling to fit us in, so we went a little earlier. There were 3 of us and the dog. We were seated in a very nice courtyard to the rear which suited us perfectly. We promptly ordered our drinks which arrived in good time. We ordered a couple of cheesy garlic ciabattas as a starter which took around 10-15 minutes. They were brilliant!! loads of cheese and 2 were more than enough for the 3 of us. My wife had the Hunters Chicken and I had the Peppered Pork from the specials board, both with chunky chips and salad. My daughter had the Chicken and fries from the main menu. The slaw was amazing!! All 3 meals were beautifully presented and delicious. The portion size was fantastic. Our bill was less than £50 which represented very good value for money. We were in, fed and watered in an hour. The only problem was, we found The Queens on the last day of our holiday otherwise we'd have gone back again. Best place we ate at all holiday."

Beautiful food, lovely staff. You have brought back life to our village pub! It was a shame we couldn’t leave a tip with the card payment as they don’t allow it and none of us had any cash. Will remember for next time. Thank you.

I have been here many times over the years and the pub has gone down hill drastically in the last six months. The menu selection was poor and the prices were high. The battered fish is very greasy. There is a plus point wifi very useful for leaving a review. Won't be rushing back

Just stopped off for afternoon tea while passing on a long. walk on the Mendip Way. Pretty busy for a Saturday afternoon all the tables outside at the front were taken so we sat in the outside covered area at the back. Tea was good and we enjoyed the rest. After a couple of circuits of the pub I still couldn't find the gents so had to ask at the bar to be told it's the door on the building at the end without a sign!!

Went to this pub on a Wednesday night for a meal, only to find out it was burger night. So burgers it was ! We ordered one beef and one fish burger, the cost £25 (12.50 each . Expectations were high thinking country pub using top quality ingredients. Then the food arrived. Two plates of bog standard and small portion food that didn't even compete with Wetherspoons for quality and presentation. Very disappointing and very over priced. We won't be eating there again !

My wife and I had a brilliant Sunday Lunch at the Queens Arms in Bleadon yesterday. I had garlic mushrooms on toast as a starter and Pam had smoked salmon and prawns. Both dishes were beautifully presented and were absolutely delicious. We both had loin of pork main meals. Large portions of sliced loin of pork served with tasty crackling and superb selection of vegetable dishes. All served piping hot. In all a meal that I am more than happy to recommend to anyone. A big thank you to the proprietors for serving up a top notch meal!

Our friend who lives locally brought me and my sister to the Queens Arms for lunch. Our friend had the Butcombe ale pie with mash, my sister and I had the Panko chicken burrito with salsa beans and avocado! We were so impressed with the superb variety of flavours and told Lizzie and Sharon that it was the best-presented meal we'd ever had! We gave our compliments to the chef! The Queens Arms is a delightful pub/restaurant in a tucked away part of gorgeous Bleadon village, with original parts built in the 16th century which makes it Tudor! Marvellous oak beams and old wooden doors, deep window recesses! If only walls could speak! Highly recommended!

Visited the pub as a family of four. Waited some time to be acknowledged and seated at our reserved table. The pub was not busy. Ordered our Sunday roast which was very nice although sadly no crackling with the pork. During our meal we had to listen to a staff member talk about ‘stabbing children’ with a couple on a nearby table despite clearly sitting with our own children. No plates were cleared from our table once we were finished, we actually moved the plates ourselves to the next door table after about 20minutes. No one asked us if our meal was ok when they removed the plates from the neighbouring table, nor did they ask if we would like desert, which we had hoped to have! In the end we...
