Puro - Menu

We had a wonderfully relaxed evening here with friends we'd not seen for a while. The food was delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. We were not rushed, and were well looked after. I'd recommend to anyone.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is incredibly tasty and the staff are very friendly. I would dine here more frequently if it weren't for the fact that I live quite a distance away. I highly recommend this place.

I recently visited this exceptional restaurant for the first time. The food was outstanding, with a fantastic selection of wines to choose from. The service was also top-notch. I am thrilled to have discovered such a first-rate dining establishment.

A memorable experience in every way from the second we walked through the door. The staff are friendly, efficient and very attentive. The meal itself was amazing. A varied menu, cooked and presented to perfection. Well done Puro we can’t wait to return.

Underground sense of gloom, plain decor with little or no atmosphere. Food ok, what there was of it..such mean portions and a main without even a smattering of carbs does not really constitute a satisfying meal.. no dis to the paleos. For all that overpriced, especially the wine. Very dissapointing experience.

I highly recommend Puro. If you're seeking the best dining experience in Clevedon, this is the place to go. The food is exceptional - you must try it to believe it. The chefs are amazing, and the staff take care of your every need, ensuring a wonderful experience. The restaurant's interior and exterior are both beautiful.

All I can say is WOW! My husband took me to my favourite place for Valentines. We had a tasting menu and everything was exceptional. Snacks Brioche with smoked cod’s roe melon with chilli lime. Starters Scallops which were delicious. Mains Chateaubriand share board, we were so full we could just about share one pudding which was chocolate fondant with a pineapple sorbet honeycomb. The pineapple sorbet was amazing! And the other amazing thing was we had all of this for £55 per person!!! Exceptional value for such good quality service food.

Dreadful food, appalling service. We had previously given Puro two 5 reviews. The last time it was dreadful. Instead of front of house with terrific interpersonal skills, This time it was “ whatever”. We have never returned, and we won’t. The food was poor quality and the onglet was inedible and as sent back. We were charged full price for meals and wine. My wife eat her offering I left mine. We gave a. 1 review to tip adviser but it seems to have disappeared. When we submitted our review it the owner offered a free wine with our next visit. We refused. I’m only writing again because the original review seems to have disappeared.. This has reduced my confidence in Tripadviser, and confirmed...

We booked a table for Thursday night, so it was relatively quite. The service was very good with a new floor manager keeping us fed and watered. The starter we chose was mussels and scallops which were both beautifully cooked . The mussel sauce with chorizo and cream was good enough to eat as a soup! The main dishes were hake and steak, again, very well cooked. The steak is 'twice cooked ', seared at very high temperature then left until required to be cooked to the right level. This seems to give the steak a caramelized almost crunchy covering. Genius idea and very good to eat. We chatted to the charming owner and discussed the wine we chose.
