"Es war unser erster Besuch bei einem Indischen Restaurant überhaupt. Umso gespannter waren wir. Nachdem unserer Unsicherheit bei der Auswahl offensichtlich war. schlug man uns nett und freundlich ein Menü vor, bei dem viele Gerichte als Probierportionen enthalten waren. Leider hörte dann aber der Service auf. Um unsere bestellten Wasserflaschen zu bekommen, mussten wir z.B. selber zur Essensausgabe gehen. Insgesamt hatte man das Gefühl, dass man zur Mittagszeit nicht recht willkommen war. Vom Essen waren die Probierportionen genau das richtige für uns. So konnte man sich an die Indische Küche herantasten. Indisch werden wir nochmal ausprobieren. Vielleicht dann in einen anderem Restaurant"

"we found this place shortly after we checked in our hotel close by, so we decided to try it as we arrived a little late in the hotel and the lunch time was over in the hotel. we ordered nasi goreng along with several bowls of kroepoek (shrimp cracker) and they were great. use the test if you want to stay in nearby hotels and find delicious food with good portion."

"This is a small, cosy, friendly little Italian restaurant with good service from Antonino and Ludovica with very good food and reasonably priced wine. We visited here for the first time after having driven past the place countless times. The outside is not very spectacular but the inside is a cosy little place divided into small sections giving a very intimate feel. Antonino and Ludovica are the young couple who seem to run the place and they are very welcoming and very friendly. There is a "fish" or "meat" four course set menu, the standard "a la carte" or the daily blackboard. The choice is very good and the resulting served dishes were really very good. Simply cooked but excellent, and good value. The wine list is similarly well priced. There was a choice of home made desserts. I chose tiramisu and the blonde chose panacotta, both of which were good. With coffee we had their home made grappa which was great. This is a really nice little restaurant. We have been looking for a restaurant nearby to make "our" place and this is the one. Unpretentious, friendly, good food, good atmosphere and reasonable prices. What more could you want?"

"Haben hier Lasagne und Pasta bestellt. Leider hat es garnicht geschmeckt, die Lasagne war älter haben zum Glück nur zum Teil gegessen.. es war eine Zumutung. Die Lasagne, war optisch nicht mal annähernd eine Lasagne und Schwamm in Tomatensoße..wahrscheinlich weil sie älter war und trocken. Pasta war 0815 und geschmacklich fad und nichts besonderes. Schade ums Geld! Hätten wir auch bei Smileys oder anderen Lieferanten bestellen können. Sehr enttäuschend. Nie wieder. Mir ist immer noch schlech … – show"

"For over two years, my family and I have been regular customers with Stella Dimi (Inhaber). We are always fully satisfied. The quality of the food and its entire facility has nothing to do with a traditional snack. Bifteki and Gyros are unbeatable, as well as you can find the best pizza in the city of Essen. But also the really classic Greek specialties like Juwetsi are great and you should really try them. Seasonal or special treats such as mussels, fish dishes or salads are often found on the offer tables. My tip would be to try the Gyros Omelette. The service is friendly, accommodating and very personal. Greek hospitality is definitely felt here. The price/performance ratio is also true here, for example, the Gyros spear is built and not delivered every day by the owner himself. I can only recommend a visit here, but you should not forget to book a table on Friday/Saturday. You can also take the food wonderfully with home."
