"It's been quite a few years since last in Poldino's and we'll be back quicker next time. The staff were both friendly and very professional We had starters of Calamari Homemade chicken liver pate. The Calamari was nice I would have it again, but the coating was a little soft for me. My partner Had the Paté which was really nice, but she was not impressed with the paper thin flat breads. Crusty bread or toast would have been preferred, but she still enjoyed it. We had a side of BRUSCHETTA which was nice. Mains Were the BISTECCA ALLA GRIGLIA which was Sirloin Steak Asparagus, 1/2 tomato with Roast Veg Potatoes.And SALMONE DELLA CASA which was Salmon fillet in a cream, smoked salmon dill sauce with roat veg potatoes. The steak was terrific. We both thought the roast Veg of Carrots Courgette was very nice they worked well with the steak and also the Salmon dish. We were both full after the 2 courses we could not manage a Desert so well done for that. Recommended"

On a day trip to Aberdeen we stumbled across this wonderful Italian restaurant. the food was fantastic and the staff so lovely. looking forward to another meal here next time in Aberdeen ps the carbonara was the best i have ever had, thank you Voir le carte

This is a lovely restaurant, it has a very nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. The food was lovely. We started with the bruschetta and the tomatoes were gorgeous, so tasty. We had the 2 ravioli dishes and they were fab. Would highly recommend

We loved the food here. We passed by walking and made a reservation and were not disappointed. I had monk fish with capers (amazing) and the eggplant and cheese ravioli with sage butter sauce. Great pairing and definitely a family business that felt authentic. 5 stars!

POLDINOS HAS BEEN OUR FAMILIES FAVOURITE RESTAURANT FOR NEARLY 50 YEARS .WE WERE BACK THE OTHER NIGHT AND THE FOOD WAS EXCEPTIONAL AS ALWAYS. THE FAMILY RUN RESTAURANT IS A MUST GO TO IF YOU ARE VISITING ABERDEEN OR LOOKING FOR THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD. Overall the experience was disappointing, the service was slow, which is somewhat understandable as it was more or less busy. The pizza however had a very thin base which made it hard to eat, didn’t have enough cheese, that you could see the base in some spots. The pizzas weren’t super tasty and anything special and were pretty much just stomach filler rather than a delightful meal. Overall wouldn’t recommend.

Great Italian Restaurant! Took a while for them to find our booking and it was busy so a little wait was endured but we were seated eventually. I had a starter (minestrone) which was stunning, for mains we both took the lasagne and it was probably the best I have ever tasted, I would even have it again. Wine was a little pricey but it was in the Oil Capital of Europe so to be expected. Ambience good, very Italian, would we ever go back....YES
