"We made a reservation online for 6:30 pm on Saturday, April 27th and arrived promptly. The service was satisfactory and the food was alright, although there was a delay in serving the main course. When we requested a dessert menu, along with another prosecco and glass of wine, they promptly brought us the drinks but did not provide the menu until we asked a different staff member. After paying the bill and sitting and chatting, at 8:05 pm the waitress abruptly told us that she needed the table back immediately, even though my wife had not finished her drink. We were surprised by this, as no one had informed us of a time limit on the table when we arrived or made the reservation online. Despite other customers still present who had arrived before us, we decided to leave. Unfortunately, there was no staff member available to address our concerns about the time limit. We submitted a complaint through 'Opentable' later on, but have not received a response over a week later. We are disappointed with the treatment we received and will not be returning to Da Vinci, nor will we recommend it to others until we receive an explanation for the poor service."

Staff were nice, maybe asked how we were, a bit too often to be honest. Upstairs was nice and quiet when we were in. Food was ok but one main had to be put back as it was too well done.

I was surprised to find an Italian restaurant with a completely separate vegan menu. eating was unique and delicious. the atmosphere was quite authentic and the service was nice. I enjoyed all three courses.

This restaurant is incredibly welcoming with a lovely ambiance and enjoyable music. The atmosphere was cozy, thanks to the crackling log fire. The menu and wine selection were excellent, offering authentic Italian dishes and wines. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the city.

Visited this restaurant purely on the basis we enjoyed it as a French Bistro years ago (another lifetime/owner) and thought as in the vicinity , why not? Excellent piece of happenstance as food excellent and the waitress was exceptional in directing choice! Superb alternative wine offered as our first choice was not available. Same with suggested upselling and everybody felt they had the good/best choice . So glad we left room for desserts SUEperb!!
