"almost by chance we decide to have lunch at the small ranch before returning from the holidays we were immediately greeted by the staff who sits in the shadow of a beautiful tree with a superb view, between Christ and sea. the good owner makes us feel at home. we take homemade dumplings with seasonal vegetables, tomato dumplings for the child and tomato ravioli! all outstanding: flavors of once, with dishes prepared with homemade pasta. plentiful portions and excellent flavor! great value for money and credit note the hospitality found! recommended to all those who want to eat to really get the traditional flavors of luca! the local is on the road to the Christ and also has a convenient parking near the local. Good!"

"ieri stavamo mangiando in questo posto molto bello con vista sull'intero porto. la sera l'atmosfera è davvero suggestiva, molto romantica contribuisce la musica sullo sfondo. abbiamo ordinato un sauté di cozze e vongole come antipasto, piatto molto fragrante, non delude le aspettative (salsa di svorio); seguito da uno scialle di vongola. ottima scelta di vini, con modesta qualità/prezzo. si deve dire una bella serata, anche grazie a rosita che ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre esigenze con velocità e tanta gentilezza. personale molto cortese! Sei bellissima."

"I came across this inviting small wine bar and restaurant as I came down the narrow streets to the centre of Maratea from The Saviour way above the town and the second biggest statue in the world! Here you will find an excellent array of wines, spirits and beers and I was recommended a Sardinian beer by the owner who has good English and who previously worked in the NW of England. I returned on a number of occasions due to the unique wonderful ambiance of the place ever so different. As a group we also ate a tapas style meal with all the food being recommended by the owner. This washed down with local Basilicata white wine was ever so tasty. Loved the place."

"Fairly recent restaurant (I think it opened in 2022) in the port of Maratea in an elevated position and organized on two levels with clear separation of the food offered in high season: on the lower terrace only pizza, on the upper terrace, with better views, only restaurant. The Neapolitan-style pizza is good, but not exceptional: good high crust, but the dough in the entire central part is far too thin and with a nuanced taste despite the quality of the ingredients. Good starters and some fish dishes. Medium-high prices, perhaps a little too much especially compared to the quantities. Service friendly enough, but a little more friendliness could be in order. Finally, a logistical note for those who have difficulty: to get there you have to go up a little from the port level (from a small road or a staircase) and then from the entrance of the venue take another flight or two flights of steps."

"Cominciamo col dire che rispetto a quanto offre la città, questo posto mi è sembrato tra i migliori. C’è una tensione verso la qualità della materia prima e dell’impiattamento decisamente alta. Sapiente la carta dei vini con prezzi medio alti ma con una scelta attenta e valida delle etichette da proporre. Abbiamo preso una zuppa (ottima) ed un baccalà (ottimo) serviti subito e senza attesa. Per una bistecca di podolica abbiamo poi atteso minuti (troppi) per una carne che non era medium rare ed il cui sapore era purtroppo inquinato da bruciature da alta cottura e griglia sporca (il proprietario molto pieno di se non ha accettato la critica e forse pensava non conoscessimo il sapore di una carne podolica….sigh). La frollatura della carne e la sua buona qualità erano riconoscibili peccato che il sapore era annullato al palato dalla malacottura. Patate e cruschi davvero ottimi un piattino è un prezzo troppo alto). Conto euro più che giusto gli mancherebbe poco per essere un posto di gran livello ma anche dalle risposte che leggo su Trip ritengo che il proprietario non abbia l’umiltà per rivedere e migliorare le cose che non vanno"
