Our noodles and lasagna tasted well, the price/performance ratio is fine.

My salad was very delicious, it was cheese, ham, tuna, cucumber, tomatoes and shrimp on it, and panini. The service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, we like to come back.

"On the fourth Advent Sunday we took a family trip to Neresheim to the Benedictine monastery. First in the abbey church is the morning Convention Office and Terz with Latin Gregorian songs. My wife and I had Latin at school, so that, unlike our children, we could understand at least some of the Latin songs. In addition, I am a lover of gregorian songs. However, on this Sunday I was also happy when the Convention Fair was over – in the abbey church it was freezing. The pond water had not yet been frozen, so it had to have had additional degrees, however, only very close. Therefore we went directly from the church to the monastery restaurant where we had reserved for lunch. The monastery restaurant is located in a tract opposite the abbey church, a rustic space with powerful masonry and cross vault. A convent appropriately quite economical, only some pictures on the walls. The room offers space for about 120 people. At noon all places were occupied, with almost all tables being preserved. In summer outdoors are also chaired in front of the monastery restaurant. Operation The services were very friendly and helpful. When an accompaniment came along that an older gentleman was hard to hold the plate with one hand at the salad buffet to serve with the other, she was immediately at the place and helped him. Food The monastery restaurant is always offering special theme days. On this Sunday there were “Brats satt”. Various beards (beard, pig, turkey and chopped beards) were dressed in buffet form, as supplements latet, semmel and potato dumplings as well as vegetables and blue wort. Far away there was a roast and a cream sauce. There were also various salads from the buffet. You could use your own Gusto, and so often you wanted. Those who wanted could also choose from the map, which includes, in particular, German and Swabian courts. However, we all opted for the “Brat satt” that will be worth EUR 12.90 per person. Children up to 12 years pay 6.45 EUR half. I myself enjoyed a monastery beer (2.80. EUR for 0.5 l), while the rest of the family first needed a tea to thaw after worship (4.00 EUR the serving). My son couldn't completely satisfy the food, and he couldn't tell exactly what he didn't care. However, all others were completely satisfied. It had especially done to me the blue herb and the potato dumplings as well as the pork roast. Price/Performance Values are hardly possible, and the foods used mainly originate from their own convent or from the environment. Cleanliness The sanitary facilities are certainly not from the founding period of the monastery complex from the 18th century. Century, even if you win almost that impression. Here a complete renewal would be appropriate. Otherwise, however, no points of criticism. The monastery restaurant advertises with “simple dishes, good bourgeois cuisine with old monastery recipes and typical Swabian dishes”. I would like to add: this at very good quality and pleasantly reasonable prices. In the outskirts of the restaurant, brown beer can be brewed according to monastic recipe, honey and monastery fires are acquired, and outside the convent complex is the farm shop of the convent estate, where you can discover eggs, bread, sausage and others from the monastic estate and their partner prayers."
