Best fish chips my wife and I have had in a while. Perfect potion size, fresh flaky fish with a thin crispy batter and a friendly service.

Who has ever heard of a fish and chip shop that stops taking takeaway orders at 8 PM on a Saturday night??? This is certainly an unusual way to operate a fish and chip shop.

The fish and chips here are incredible! The service is excellent as well. I ordered takeout and highly recommend calling ahead since they have limited capacity. I can't recommend this place enough. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

I had the best tasting fish I've had in years, and I even received a free James Patterson book along with it! It's not just about the food; I love this village and the people here. I'm looking forward to 2022, which will be filled with trips to Porlock and Swarm in between.

Very friendly staff , ordered our food for 8.40pm and was greeted with a smile , prices were very good considering the quality of the food , 2 large fish n chips , pie n chips ,large sausage in batter n chips two peas and curry , just over 30£. This is a lovely little restaurant in Porlock. They offer a variety of fish and chips, as well as many delicious cakes! They also provide vegan and gluten-free options. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and accommodates around 20 guests, but it's clear they keep busy. During my meal, I noticed many people coming in to place takeout orders. It seems there's quite a demand for their food!

The food quality is excellent, but it's important to remember to place your order in advance. This isn't your typical fish and chips shop; it's more of a restaurant that offers takeout. The posted hours are specifically for when you can pick up and pay for your order, which is cash only. They will confirm your pickup time when you place your order. While there's no parking available on-site, there is a free parking area nearby that you can use after 6 PM. Did I mention that the food is really good? I will definitely order again.

by far the best fish and chips I've ever had in my life. I am a great fan of a good fish and chips and in my 31 years to eat them, I have traveled from north to south of the united kingdom to the good and the evil. piggy in the middle is characterized by the best I had. I ordered a large cod and chips, with a seafood basket. every teig was different in taste, married the garnish, tinted fish or fish it was delicate coating. the cod was fresh, melting in mouth and the decadent teig was the perfect companion. the chips were not so delicate, but had the perfect texture. it is clear that they know the art of cooking fish and chips and have perfected their 30-year history.
