"Super freundliche Bedienung, immer Hilfsbereit. Sehr gute Preisleistungqualität! Portionennwaren gross.Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Als einzige zu sagen wäre dass in der Fondue zu viel Pfeffer war. I was with my son and his friends to try typical Swiss food. With a fondue for 2 people we were able to eat 4. We had a hard time finishing it. Then we also ordered a rüsti and the cordon bleau. Also a potato soup with cheese because one of the girls was sick. All very rich and very Swiss . I would give it a but and that is that the fondue had too much pepper...."

"We ate here today with 4 people and to say it in advance it was fantastic. Briefly mention all the points individually: The service we had was very polite and accommodating and we didn't miss anything. People always asked for the right one, so a thumbs up in this category The food was very good, I would even say fantastic. We all had a different dish and everyone found it very satisfying. At this point it should also be mentioned that the portions were very good and we were all definitely full. A clear thumbs up in this category too As far as the price-performance ratio is concerned, you definitely can't complain if you consider that we all had a starter, main course, dessert and wine. Thumbs up in this category too Now two more little things: What really impressed me was that the chef personally inquired about what was going on. This deserves respect on my part. If you are lucky enough to get a window seat, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Thun and the mountain panorama. "Came here for dinner and was very disappointed by the poor service we found in this place. However the fish I had was OK, but the Rösti was luke warm and soggy intead of hot and crispy as it should be. Furthermore the meal was served in very loveless manner, almost like fast food. My wife had a fish with french fries. All in all too expensive for what we received on our plates. Service was definitely not overloaded as the restaurant was only to about one third occupied."

"Wegen Corona war nur die terasse geöffnet. Pizza war sehr gut gemischter Salat war gut frisch gemacht und grosse Portion. Kaffee (doppelter Espresso) war für meinen Geschmack zum wässrig. Hielt hatte ich mir mehr erwartet... Ich wüde denke das war entweder keine kolben Maschine sondern ein Vollautomat oder viel zu viel Wasser im Brüh Vorgang. Bedienung war nett und freundlich Aussicht und Lage sind Spitze"

"A lovely lakefront restaurant. We are visiting friends here and were disappointed the place was closed last time we were at Faulensee, but it was worth the wait. We both had the grilled lake whitefish, Felchen, which was delicious with buttered potatoes and green mixed salads. Beautiful view of Lake Thunersee. My wife slept in a Citroen here in 1963 with her parents and brother on a European auto tour because all the lodgings were full! We plan to make this a regular stop on our European trips. Friendly and efficient service and a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains. I forgot to mention that my wife 's family name is Hecht, same as the restaurant, German for pike fish!"
