"Nach langem Lock Down konnten wir endlich wieder im Hirschen essen gehen! Die Terrasse ist offen und alle Schutz Massnahmen werden eingehalten. Zur Vorspeise bestellten wir einmal einen Gemischten Salat und einmal Crevetten im Teig frittiert. Als Hauptgang bestellte meine Frau Pouletflügeli und Pommes und ich Pferdefilet vom heissen Stein und Pommes. Die Speisen waren hervorragend gekocht und schmeckten ausgezeichnet. Das Personal war wie immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Viele Gäste genossen die Frühlingssonne und das gute Essen. Endlich kann man wieder im Restaurant auf der Terrasse essen und geniessen. Wir werden wieder kommen. Es hat immer genügend Parkplätze frei."

"We ate here today with 4 people and to say it in advance it was fantastic. Briefly mention all the points individually: The service we had was very polite and accommodating and we didn't miss anything. People always asked for the right one, so a thumbs up in this category The food was very good, I would even say fantastic. We all had a different dish and everyone found it very satisfying. "Bewertung als Hochzeitsgast. Parkanlage sehr schön. Beim Apéro auf der Terrasse lief alles eigentlich noch gut, bis auf Knappheit vom alkoholfreien Bier sowie dem Nachschenken. Zum Abendessen waren wir in einem kleineren Raum untergebracht. Keine Begrüssung durch Servicepersonal. Was ich vorfand war eine Servicangestellte mit einem mürrischen Blick ohne lächeln, welche auch keinen Spass verstand. Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber für eine Hochzeit eher lieblos angerichtet. Wenn auf der Menukarte zwei Saucen aufgeführt sind, möchte ich eigentlich keine Sauce auf dem Teller, sondern separat in Saucièren auf dem Tisch, damit ich auswählen kann. Beim Nachservice erwarte ich nicht, dass die Pommes frites mit der Schüssel ins Teller geleert werden, sondern mit Besteck nachgeschöpft werden insbesondere von einem Chef de Service. Ständig musste nach Getränken nachgefragt werden. Was ich auch nicht so toll fand, war ein Serviceangestellter mit hängendem Telefon hinten zum Hosensack raus. In Zukunft sollten, vielleicht zuerst alle Teller abgeräumt werden, vielleicht zu zweit, danach die Brotkörbe. Der Service war miserabel und inkompetent. Für ein Parkhotel Gunten enttäuschend. Ein zweites Mal wird es nicht geben.!!"

"this restaurant could not be strategically placed for a magnificent panoramic view of the Swiss alps. it sits on a steep hill in the heigts above the thunsee and looks at the lake and the imposing mountain beyond, with more mountain ranges up to cloged summits behind one of the naves that lead into the berner above. the restaurant itself is built with many wooden beams and sport, an almost continuous glass front to the valley side of the curved building. so they sit on an almost improbable Swiss mountain scene by lush madows with skewbald cows, their bells around their näckens sound peaceful, steep mountain sides and shed drops on the blue water of the sea far down, dotted with the whte sails by small sailboats. you only expect heidi to froclicize with goat peter in tow. there is also a covered terrace outside for more seating, protected from possible winds with glass panes. we were there yesterday with the gymnastics club of my mannes, we were greeted with a friendly and cheerful greeting from all servier staff and immediately sat. soon afterwards the various dishes of our meal began to come, all delivered with great and attentive joy and good humor really friendly people. changes from us to the predetermined menu (laktose-free, vegetarian etc. were accepted with helpful suggestions and supportive understanding as well as delicious alternatives. we had a very tasty suppe, fresh and munchy salad, followed by a main dish that was drawn for most with mushroom sauce, noodles and fruit. I had a plate of sorted vegetables with a potato and a fried egg, all completely delicious and very well made. for the desert most of us went for one of the house specialties: huge medailles with right whipped cream and ice, but portioning that would make two full meal times for me! I can't bury how people can make it for the desert after a three-course menu. one of our friends made it safe even after he had asked for extra whipped cream, which was delivered cheerfully. I had only a bit of ice, even delicious. the coffee was also very good, with a full taste. this restaurant offers them a taste of first class Swiss cuisine with top service and at a reasonable price good, reasonabe for the Swiss, that is. I can highly recommend this place. they just do everything right there."

"Wegen Corona war nur die terasse geöffnet. Pizza war sehr gut gemischter Salat war gut frisch gemacht und grosse Portion. Kaffee (doppelter Espresso) war für meinen Geschmack zum wässrig. Hielt hatte ich mir mehr erwartet... Ich wüde denke das war entweder keine kolben Maschine sondern ein Vollautomat oder viel zu viel Wasser im Brüh Vorgang. Bedienung war nett und freundlich Aussicht und Lage sind Spitze"
