This is the best bar around! They offer great prices for drinks and play awesome cheesy music. When the weather warms up, you can enjoy their fantastic outdoor seating. They also have a pool table in the back and host rock night upstairs on weekends.

We were looking forward to going to the Percy Arms for a drink, as we hadn’t been there for about 10 months or so. Got a pint of John Smiths that was terrible, so it was exchanged but the 2nd pint wasn’t much better, however the manager was abusive and refused to give a refund. Will not be going back… Avoid! We went in ad hoc we waited for opening they got us seated couldn’t fault it really special will be going age on soon. Not the cheapest as in food chain but all fresh and not frozen unless I missed something and I don’t usyayhad the mince and dumplings. Mmmm the chilli looked lush fish and chips outrageous. Not sure what to try

Been here a few times, the food is lovely, (not like other pubs which serve frozen rubbish) Home cooked proper English food. My husband likes the mince and dumplings but they have an extensive menu and a 2 or 3 course special. The pub is homely. The only thing I don't like is the toilets could do with a deep clean, I know you don't eat in the toilet but it is a bit of a let down. Otherwise I would have rated a 5 star.

Booked a table, just as well it was heaving. We weren't aware that there was an over 60's menu. 3 course for £10.95. Terrific value and food was good. Pity about the noise, there was a group of about 60 sitting just behind us,they had a great time but a bit overpowering for us, however, we still enjoyed our visit and would call again. My partner, who is 42 years old, was asked for ID by security at the restaurant. She is a regular customer at the bar and has been for years. She has even talked to the staff multiple times in the past two weeks, but they still refused to let her in without ID. Usually, you would expect to have a civil conversation in this situation, but they were not willing to budge. The service is inconsistent and often lacking. It was already subpar, but now it makes you question whether going there will ruin your night. My advice is to not even bother.

I used to frequent this restaurant often for Sunday lunch because the food was fantastic, but after a recent visit, I am sad to say that I may not be back. It seems like there is a new chef as the quality of the food has declined. The roast potatoes were terrible, the gravy was watery, the meat was decent, and the vegetables were average. Overall, the dishes lacked flavor. It's disappointing because the food used to be delicious. The one positive aspect of the experience was Abbie, the waitress, who was excellent at her job. She was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Set opposite the Village Green in Walbottle the Percy looks welcoming especially after dark with its lights and outdoor seating area It is the perfect local community pub with welcoming hosts and friendly staff There is a good choice of drinks and food all at reasonable prices and good quality my favourite dish is the mince and dumplings washed down with a pint of 61 Deep, my wife likes the Scampi with a glass of Savagnion and my son the belly pork.
