Great food but omg the service is slow. Mains took 45 mins and dessert over 30 mins. Seems to be that they have all their staff on the bar and only one in the restaurant. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Visited here a few times now for food. Food is lovely and staff are very friendly. The staff and manager were great with my 5 year old son, asking him how his first day back at school went and making him laugh. Also visited the outdoor play area on our way out which was nice. We booked for a surprise birthday party and the whole experience was fantastic, the team were lovely and the food was delicious! Reasonably priced and nothing was to much bother. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed the evening. Lindsey, our server was amazing and provided the best experience. We would definitely return.

Always love our visit to the Old Gatehouse... the food is good (especially the buttermilk chicken burger it's absolutely unreal! , good value, and a great drinks selection (especially Camden Hells on tap! . The service is always great, last night we were served by David (I think who is always very friendly, great with our kids and even booked our taxi home for us, and also the manager Ian who is always so approachable and accommodating. The child's play area is brilliant and we try to get along as often as we can. Love it!

We had pleasure of another dining experience at Old Gatehouse and thoroughly enjoyed this visit. Service was spot on and Lindsey was so attentive and helpful. Our meals were piping hot and did not have to wait long for drinks and food to arrive on a busier Friday evening. Bacon and cheese burgers so tasty grilled to perfection. We would definitely recommend a visit as this is the best pub restaurant in the area. Great staff and cosy atmosphere in pleasant surroundings.
