"incredibly delicious! we love Oishi-Q! definitiw a place to go back list. we had the fried squid and agedashi tofu for starter - both were very tasty and freshly cooked. for the net we had chicken kaarage with Oishi sauce (Japanese mayo and Tokonatsu sauce) as well as chicken katsu curry. both were served with a lot of huh and I thought the karaage was extremely good fried! to improve, we would have liked to see more soss for the katsu curry when the rice drinks them all up and would like to have a few more nice. Otherwise, one must visit and I will try to spit the yakitori next time as she saw very appealing."

After trying Oishi Q I've been undecided for days whether to give it 4 or 5 starsNot joking, days.

tried the Japanese curry with crispy tofu! the food was absolutely delicious and filling. the only part was that the restaurant lasted 40 minutes to prepare for eating! but it was really worth waiting. Voir le carte

the eating was cheap and tasty enough and should be good with the local student populous (their website has details of the gelding out good, competition a loyalty card,) but for a fan of Japanese food like me, I hoped for more dinge.

Hidden gem, worth a short walk from the city centre for delicious Japanese curries and yakitori! I had the crispy tofu curry, my partner had the classic chicken katsu and we shared chicken karaage with Japanese mayo (lush . All for about £20 so well wortj it! Left super full. Curry sauce was awesome, sticky rice perfect for chopsticks. Chicken karaage juicy and crunchy. Staff also super friendly and you can watch anima as you eat : a nice spot

Authentic Japanese food in Manchester. Vegetable tempura was excellent and so was their vegetable ramen! Although be prepared that it tastes bit fishy due to the fact that they use seaweed. After awhile I got used to the taste and quite liked it! It might not be everyone’s cup of tea. So just bear that in mind. Place itself is spacious and has lots of seating available. They also do deliveries which is convenient if you live close by. I’d liked the fact that you could see how your food was prepared. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend it!

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
