"We booked a table for 6:45pm but didn’t receive our first course until 7:45pm, dessert finally arrived at 9:20pm! The food was actually OK, but definitely not worth the wait! There was a man with a child at the table next to us and the little boy was quite distressed tired and hungry to the point his dad was ordering a pizza online just as their food arrived. There was a good selection at breakfast but the hot buffet was disappointingly cold. The staff generally were friendly and helpful and the ambience nice, but the poor food service let the whole visit down."

Good choice of food. Liked the 2 courses and a drink for £25, good value. Service very good, obviously short of staff but the chaps worked hard, polite and were friendly. Would use again.

Booking was easy online and making a changing to the booking was easy too (adding 2 guests). There was a good selection of food and drinks and the food was very tasty. I particularly liked the 2 course and a drink for £25. Highly recommended.

Whilst the food was excellent the wait for food was too long. We had been sat for 1 hour with our order taken 15 minutes after we arrived. The restaurant was by no means busy, with less than half the tables being used and there was no information given about the waiting time. The restaurant was chilly, making the wait feel very long.

Food was delicious, hot and fresh. Quality of service was not consistent. We were not directed to a table but were told to sit at a 'clean table '. When I went to sit at a table that looked clean I was abruptly told not that one, it 's not clean. Would be better if taken to a designated table. Restaurant was quite cold inside. Did not realise 12.5% service charge would be added to bill.

There were only 2 waitresses for more than 20 customers, we got the hotel late because there was a prom party that the hotel didn’t notify us before and there was a too much traffic. We were waiting for the food more than 40 minutes and another 20 minutes for the bill. I would say that the waitresses do their best but it was completely imposible for them . The restaurant need more workers for providing a good service . The food was not too bad but our mod was not the best one as we had to wait a lot, it was late and our daughter was too tired
