"As a trio of elderly diners we were slightly anxious at our first venture out to eat, in over a year. We shouldn’t have worried. Nick’s is so worth a visit. Excellent venue, welcoming. Staff, Grace and Hannah were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, they were so kind. We all relished the fish and chips, best ever, followed by a scrumptious dessert. Lovely setting both inside and out. My 6 year old and I loved it. Good food and service was exceptional. All the young staff were lovely to my wee girl who has a broken arm. We will be back.

I visited some friends here recently and we made multiple stops to this delightful restaurant. Hands down, best fish and chips I've ever had. Now that I'm back in the USA, I'm sad I'll have to really search to find the same level of quality.

Walking passed and looked inviting, especially seating outside. Great service and food perfect; then realised it was Nick Nairns new venture (unfortunately closed soon after opening due to COVID19 and just back open ...it then suddenly became a bargain. (Picture says it all scoffed .

Went for a nice pre Christmas lunch, ended up having Christmas dinner, it was fab, even Nicola could not spoil it as so I had my non alcoholic Becks. Thought why not and had the winter spiced date pudding too, Definetly pop along, friendly staff, super courteous, ultra clean and completely on the case with Covid protection
