I recently ordered takeaway from this restaurant and was blown away by the high-quality food. From the starters to the main courses, everything was delicious. My daughter and I are usually picky eaters, but we both loved our meal. Thank you to the staff for a great experience. I don't typically write reviews, but I had to make an exception this time.

I used to use this restaurant years ago. I don’t know why I stopped. Anyway ordered tonight and I was blown away. Absolute perfection. Kicking myself for all the disappointing Indian takeaways I’ve had recently. So happy to have reminded myself about this place. Superb!! We travel from Roker to Sonargow to get our food as it is one of the best take aways in Sunderland. We have tried all the local Indian's, but found them either poor quality or poor value for money. The service is excellent and the portions are very generous. The chicken is cooked very well and is not dry like a lot of the places we have tried. Well done to the staff. Tony. Possibly the most bland Indian we have ever had, very little flavour in the curry. The chicken pakora was just dough/bread with a tiny piece of chicken in, not crispy at all. The naan was greasy and bland. The chips tasted like cardboard, actual cardboard not an exaggeration. Avoid this place if you want something tasty.
