we enjoyed our visit in the city totro sunderland. the service was a little slow, but since the pupils are training that is expected. nice menu, good eating, attentive staff, great atmosphere. we look forward to a visit. Voir le carte

We had booked the special beef and beer night to celebrate my birthday. The food was fantastic and the range of beers matched the food very well. The custard tart was amazing as a finale to a great meal. Superb value for money

A thoroughly enjoyable lunch. It was a huge surprise to expect that level of cuisine at that price. I had read peoples previous reviews and was a little skeptical but actually they were true to their word. I will definitely go back.

we enjoyed our meal very much. there was a good choice on the menu and we were very satisfied with the decisions we made. it was a pity that only two tables were occupied on a Friday night and I hope that more people visit the bistro and find out how pleasant it is. Voir le carte

We came to celebrate our anniversary and were not let down. Service and food both very high standard. Was a relaxed atmosphere and didn't feel rushed. Received a complementary glass of fizz for our anniversary very nice touch. Will definitely return and also recommend to friends and family.

We had the 10 course tasting menu with wine pairing and were not disappointed. The value for money is unbelievable being the cheapest tasting menu and wine pairing ive ever come across. We were seated in the kitchen which was a great touch!! Great to chat with the chef and see the students at work. Can't recommend enough and will definitely be back!!!!

The service is good not polished (they are learning) but willing, helpful and friendly. The food is better than the average restaurant thoughtful menu with unfamiliar combinations served attractively and tasting good. More adventurous than usual (as you might expect from a catering college) and it brings it off. I thought it risky to offer battered fish (such an everyday dish) until I tasted it the batter was extraordinary and the fish right. What did surprise me was that there were only 3 tables occupied at 7pm on a Thursday I would have thought that it would be booked out especially at the prices charged (low side of average). Oh Well, such is Sunderland, and I shall go back regularly. Voir le carte
