We found the service was a bit slow in clearing table after mains and then taking afters order was slow and mistakes on the orders happened when it should not have. But in saying that we all enjoyed the place and the food.

Warm welcome, friendly and professional service by Kion one of the friendliest waiting staff I have come across in a long while. The food was good quality, served within a reasonable time and was a good price, thanks to the special offers. We will return

The pub is in a scenic spot has lots of character. The staff are friendly but seemed unused to special dietary requirements. The food was average I was still hungry afterwards. Also didn't like the ticket I got demanding £100 for the car park. I didn't put enough on by 20mins so be careful, not a relaxing meal. Voir le carte

Food took an hour to arrive and was luke warm on arrival. Most of the food was cooked from frozen. The worst Sunday lunch I have ever had in a restaurant. Had to ask 4 times for glass of wine. The lovely young staff try their very best however the management are clearly clueless and the chefs unable to cook very well.

Just had a fantastic evening at The Navigation Inn for my daughter’s 18th family meal. Wide range of food on the menu and absolutely lovely and tasty food, the steak cut was delicious, everyone enjoyed their food and that’s rare for my family! Highly recommend. Staff were friendly helpful and hard working top marks to Carl for looking after our table! We will definitely be back

Looks a lovely place a bit tired in places outside a nice setting. Inside was nice, staff were over run but pleasant enough. Gin bar looks impressive but so far away from the bar if you don’t know your bottles you’ve had it. The garlic bread looked nice. TBH almost £14 beer gin tonic quite pricey. As for folks moaning about the parking if you didn’t see all those signs you’re blind. Voir le carte

Staff were friendly and efficient , choice of food is good and reasonably priced . The offer on a Thursday (steak and wine )was a good deal , however I wish now I had upgraded my sirloin steak as it was a little tough and chewy ,hence why I’ve only given four stars , however my mother had the ribeye and she said it was fabulous! The puddings were delicious also . We will definitely go again

Frankly hard to find any fault here on a recent stop. Really friendly and helpful staff, possibly one of the best fish ‘n chips (terrific flaky white cod, brilliant chunky chips. Special was lamb shank, served with garlic mash and mange tout which were excellent fresh, crisp. Short wine list of very acceptable wines by the glass. Marstons on draught. Very well worth going out of your way, lovely location on canal ad the well!

I'm disgusted how we have been treated at your establishment. We parked in your car park and had a meal and drinks on the 16th of August. We were visiting our son and family nearby. We have proof of purchase at the bar! After arriving home we have received a parking fine for £60 for parking in The Navigation car park. I've sent The Navigation emails with no one replying. The company who sent us the fine is impossible to get intouch with. We shall definitely never visit this establishment ever again. Be aware of parking charges before you call for a drink or meal!
