"I made a lunch reservation at this fantastic pub restaurant. I have visited multiple times before and knew exactly what to expect, and I was not disappointed. The food is simple, generous, and delicious. It's definitely not Nouvelle cuisine, and I'm thankful for that. My boss ordered the roast turkey with roast potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables with a bit of crunch. I opted for the chicken curry with rice and chips, a superb curry with tomatoes, onions, a hint of sweetness, and spices, paired with a pint to wash it down. We both indulged in puddings (decadent desserts covered in pouring cream) which were also very enjoyable. It cost us £18 for everything. The Musicians Arms is a friendly and welcoming place that serves as a reminder that amidst all the chaos and nonsense in the world, there are still places where people are kind, life is good, and a sense of English culture remains."

The Musicians will never be trendy or chic and the average age of its customers will always be over 60 but what it will be is somewhere that serves tasty, hot and plentiful food at a great price served by friendly staff. Long may it continue.

Great venue for a god home cooked Sunday Lunch. Very tasty grub excellent service from friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere the place was full with about 60 diners at both sittings. Two courses plus coffee for £8.50. What's not to like? Other pubs in the area could learn a lot from this place. Excellent all round.

I went to this restaurant for lunch today and had a delicious meal with excellent service. It was clear that this place is popular among locals, as there were many regulars dining there. I ordered the Gammon, followed by the Kit Kat Cheesecake and a cup of tea for a total of £8.50. It was great value for the quality of the food, and I will definitely be returning again.

The Musician's Arms is an experience. Fabulous food like your mother would have cooked an amazing plate of food. I had steak pie (suet pastry! , mash, veg and gravy, with KitKat cheesecake to follow. Sensational. We loved it, and will be back. Difficult to avoid walking out of here without a huge grin on your face. The food and the people just make it happen. Forget nouvelle cuisine, get yourself here for a stonking lunch.

Another Sunday lunch without fault. We eat here regular and find the quality and quantity outstanding and without complaint. Today was no exception. My wife and I both had lamb and it was superb. I couldn't refuse my regular choice of desert (apple crumble and custard) and my wife opted for kit kat cheese cake. She was too full to finish hers but i was all too happy to help her with it. Delicious as ever. Always a warm welcome for customers new and old alike.

I went for Sunday lunch while visiting my parents, who had been before. They offer a good Sunday roast with a choice of three meats (let them know if you want lamb when you book). The desserts were delicious (I had crumble with custard). The owner/chef came out to greet us and mentioned that bookings were lower but they were prepared for that. They also mentioned that transitioning to takeaway would be easy for them, which is commendable during this time. The food was tasty and comforting.

My wife and I eat Sunday lunch here with a friend at least once every 3 week and sometimes more depending on other commitments. You will travel a long way to find a good value for money lunch to rival this one. Delicious food with a choice of roast meats, plenty of veg, roast and mash potatoes, stuffing and Yorkshire pudding. To follow they have mostly home made deserts to die for with a choice of fresh cream, squirty cream or custard to accompany your vast choice. Plenty to choose from and a cup of tea or coffee to follow all for the bargain price of £8:50. Friendly staff, great banter with a warm welcome. 2 sittings on Sunday but still advisable to book.

"We choose this spot because of the many positive reviews. I guess we turned up on a bad day!I have only been introduced to coffee a few years ago despite being in my mid 50’s and really don’t like coffee unless a well made flat white. I travel the world frequently for work and always ask the same question, can you make a flat white? The reason being unless the person is a passionate barista I rarely get a coffee I enjoy. This question clearly upset the lady serving us who ‘rolled her eyes out loud’ by the question and then represented the request to her colleague in a manner that was more like ‘we have a pain in the arse’ than ‘can we make this gentleman a nice coffee. (Yes we overheard).Everything was fine except the flat white was a milky coffee and not something I enjoyed. Not a problem though. I never said a word but when asked at the counter how things were I thought I would say everything was good except the ‘flat white’. Immediately confronted by both in very hostile way was very surprising as I was only answering a question I thought they were interested in hearing I placed a review on their website and their response is a really good example of their attitude. Instead of focusing on service recovery they wanted to blame me and absolve themselves of any responsibility.I of course mentioned this to a few people in Sleaford and surprise surprise was met with very similar responses, ‘we don’t go there anymore as the staff can be very rude’ Looking forward to seeing how the proprietors decide to respond to this one."
