Metro Lounge - Carte

We had a great experience at a restaurant in Amersham. It was a bit on the expensive side, but the atmosphere was fantastic. The wine was particularly good. Thank you!

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday and I had a very nice time. The food was excellent and the service was great. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Popped in as looked fun and menu looked tasty. Ordered via the app. Drinks arrived quickly and food not too long after. Delicious. A really varied menu. Tapas very good, burgers, noodles. Would come back if in area. Voir le carte

I had lunch at this restaurant and the food was served quickly with good service. I ordered the pulled brisket chili, which was slow cooked and very tasty. The only downsides were that the portion was small and there was a small amount of beef in the dish. It was mostly beans rather than beef.

Yummy food, great service. Best place in amersham for me Birthday lunch with family, as always food was excellent, such a variety.. Happy , kind and friendly staff as always and just had a lovely time. Special thanks to Michael and Aston, will be back soon and recommend to everyone.. breakfast, lunch or dinner..

Was looking forward for lunch at the metro lounge with a friend I haven’t seen in a while. The customer service was not to normal standard. Being ask at my age (over 50) not to tear the paper menu up! Not even a hello welcome to metro lounge, how can I help you. Had to get up a number of times to get service even though not that busy. Breakfast items at bar to be sold to public not covered up. On the upside food was ok. Voir le carte

All in all, dreadfully slow service. Customer service was simply blunt and unhelpful. Waited 10 mins to be served for drinks at the bar, then another 15 minutes just to get the drinks, after having to remind the staff members of my drinks which their response seemingly presented a forgotten look on their face. we gave up on going for food and simply left after we finished our drinks. If I didn’t have to pay outright for the drinks I simply would’ve got up and left before they came.

Great atmosphere, comfy sofas, excellent coffee, friendly staff who went above beyond, came back for lunch (shakshuka PERFECT for a cold day! their homemade pink lemonade. Really enjoyed it it's not your average coffee shop, there was a big craft/games table for kids, nice buzz with quite a few people (singles reading, pairs chatting, groups eating, etc. but still plenty of room happy staff with great music. Took home a carry out slice of Victoria sponge cake, v nice. Completely gutted they couldn't sell me a lampshade : Definitely recommend, will be back soon!

My partner and I decided to try out brunch at the Amersham branch after dining at the Ealing and High Wycombe locations. We were familiar with the process, but were surprised to find that many menu options were unavailable. Even after making our selections, my dish turned out to be unavailable. We also found that when ordering coffee or a shake, only full fat milk was available, with semi-skimmed or oat milk greyed out. I ended up ordering a simple brunch of oak smoked bacon and poached eggs on a muffin, while my partner ordered her usual Mexican superbowl. The food took over 30 minutes to arrive, and when it did, my eggs were overcooked, the bacon was fatty, and the muffin was mediocre. The... Voir le carte
