"Typically Spanish bar/cafe large TV with football on (Barcelona V Real Madrid), lots of loud Spanish people getting excited about the football, a waiter who seemed to have had a drink or two...... no English spoken but menu was in English.... We had wine from a 'jarrita ' which was house red I thought it would be rough as it 's decanted from a big plastic container but it was really good. Husband then had a very big steak or chuleton which was enormous served with chips and said it was great. I had a salad with chips also very good. We then waited an awfully long time to be asked if we wanted anything else (I had my eye on the turron cake) but the waiter never came back to us he was on his own to be fair and the bar had filled up and he was run off his feet. We just paid the very very cheap bill and left so an experience, the food was good but the service and atmosphere left something to be desired...."

Excelente comida, muy buena relación calidad precio. La fuente de ibéricos, el chuletón y las chuletillas de cordero exquisitos . Muy recomendable y una grata sorpresa.

Fuimos a comer en familia, la comida fue estupenda, todo un acierto el lugar. Los Huevos rotos con farinato riquísimos, el cachopo delicioso. Seguro repetimos al volver a Ciudad Rodrigo

We dined at Meson Elizabeth Charro and the food was delicious. My wife had a very well seasoned entrecote steak. My huevos revueltos with marinate (sausage) was very good as well. Nice restaurant!

We chose this restaurant because of the positive reviews it had. We checked on TripAdvisor and Google and the opening time was 8pm on Tuesdays. What was our astonishment when at 20.30 the restaurant was closed and there was a person at the counter who saw us and ignored.
