The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the location is fantastic.

The food quality was disappointing, and the restaurant wasn't very crowded for a Saturday night.

The food and service were outstanding, a solid 11 out of 10. The restaurant was impeccably clean, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The portions were generous and the quality was top-notch. It was definitely worth every penny!

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant for a casual wedding celebration. They efficiently served a table of 25, delivering all starters and main courses within an hour. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, even bringing out the children's main courses alongside the starters. Every guest remarked on how beautiful the food was. Thank you so much!

This was my 1st time out for a meal since beginning of Covid. I've been going to Martin's from they opened, with no complaints. Service from staff was excellent however the food was disappointing. We both ordered chicken dishes. When food arrived I was shocked at the appearance. A dry chicken breast with a bit sauce around it. I never said anything at the time. I thought it might taste better than it looks. I did comment to waitress while paying the bill. She said they would have cooked us another if we had told her. I just think if the chef is happy to serve that up your just going to get same again.

Didn 't order food immediately as the place was heaving but decided to sit outside till things got a bit quieter as it was such a lovely day. Big mistake tables full of bird droppings and the view of the sea, which I had always enjoyed before, spoilt by a hot dog stand. This may be out of Portobello 's control but it was so close to the venue, it was almost in it ! Ordered two cocktails which were actually a splash of gin drowned in lemonade with a strawberry stuck on the side of a tiny cup which cost £7 each. To cap it all there were people sitting next to us eating fish and chips from the chippy across the road. We didn 't order food and made a sharp exit.
