"This is a very small restaurant located quite far away from the main harbour. Staff were friendly and food was okay, but definitely overpriced. My partner and I were very keen to visit this restaurant after reading some amazing reviews, however, we were disappointed when we arrived. The restaurant’s website claims it to be the most romantic restaurant in Italy and 6th most romantic in the world, however this is a bit of a stretch. The restaurant is very small, accommodating only around 6 tables in total, 5 of which had a sea view. Since we visited for dinner, we couldn’t appreciate the views very much as it was dark outside, but I imagine it to be lovely during the day. The food was pretty good, my partner ordered the lasagne and I had the shrimps (I thought I was ordering prawns as stated on the menu, but I was presented with shrimps). The lasagne was very good, but I was far from delighted with my seafood as it wasn’t as was described on the menu and was simply overpriced. Albeit, I thoroughly enjoyed the tiramisu, and ended up getting another! The website asks for a €40pp deposit when making a reservation, which can be reached rather comfortably, however this restaurant is not ‘high end’ enough to demand such high deposits. There are plenty of other restaurants in Amalfi serving cheaper food, in more convenient locations with no deposit requirement. Overall, I didn’t have a terrible experience, but it did not live up to the standards I was expecting after reading so many raving reviews about it. It essentially felt like I was sat in someone’s living room that had been rearranged to look like a restaurant with average food and cheap table/chairs etc, making this experience far from ‘the most romantic dinner’."

"restaurant with beautiful location and view, waiters for most nice and capable. great food and refined dishes that would make him deserve the 5 stars, but unfortunately I can not put them for two reasons: 1. the menu sheet that is given at the beginning does not present all the ingredients present in the dishes and therefore the allergens present. I had to send back a dish because it arrived with adding a decoration with an ingredient not specified in the menu to which I am allergic. 2. When I pointed out the thing to the waiter in charge of the commanders, he suggested that I first say their allergies so not very kind, after I noticed that there was no written in the menu that ingredient. in 2021 it is not permitted that all ingredients and allergens are not clearly written. so if you are allergic to something be careful. In addition prices are higher than the average of the coast."

"bella locale a praiano, in Costiera Amalfitana. Dopo aver preso alcune scale molto suggestive, ci troviamo sulla terrazza con la fantastica vista di tutta la costa, molto bello se si va al tramonto! Abbiamo preso l'antipasto dello chef e la cagliata di cozze, e sono stati davvero speciali: pesce fresco e ottima qualità, cucinato veramente bene. poi calamari e polipo con patate e pescato del giorno, il primo tipico del posto, era davvero buono e molto morbido, e il pesce del giorno invece era così buono e saporito che abbiamo finito prima di poter prendere la foto! Infine abbiamo concluso la serata con una fetta di popone con arancio e lamponi. davvero ottimo posto, considerando anche che il prezzo è molto onesto!"

"I went here on the recommendation of my Airbnb host Antonio. The rating didn't seem to be bad, so I went there and was greeted kindly. The recommended menu item is risotto. Most of them were eating that. It seemed to have mussels, clams, shrimp, squid, and octopus inside, and it was delicious, perhaps a Mediterranean-style risotto. I also ate meat and it was very delicious. If you order a menu and ask for a wine pairing recommendation, they will recommend it. There are not only menu items, but also desserts, so I think it would be nice to go and enjoy them."

"While staying in Sorrento we decided to rent scooters and travel along the coast. After a day out we found great reviews of this spot and decided to stop in for lunch. By far SUCH a good idea! Service was phenomenal and the food was AMAZING. The prices themselves were very reasonable and MUCH lower than surrounding restaurants near/in Positano and Priano. SUCH good food. We left lunch very full and VERY happy. I would 1000% recommend this place for lunch over the “flashy/touristy” locations. The only negative is you don’t get a “front row” view of the ocean but the food trumps that!
