Excellent place, tucked out of the way in suburban FARNBROUGH. Colourful and fresh food, very tasty. Efficient service.

I had a fantastic meal and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The only issue I encountered was with the acoustics, which made it difficult to hear the people at my table. However, I still cannot recommend this place highly enough!

I would say good atmosphere to eat. It's not authentic authentic. It's more fusion. If you are looking for authentic taste not the one. Portions are really really small for the price we pay. Services are great. They should amend the prices, just my suggestion Voir le carte

Top notch Asian food including Chinese, Malaysian and Thai culinary delights. I've eaten here only two times and my wife and I have been delighted by the presentation and taste of the food we have chosen to eat. The service is great and the white wines are nicely chilled.

Very exquisite dinner tonight at Malacca, the staff were friendly, the drinks are wonderful, the food was fabulous! The flavours packed a punch, and the dishes tasted truly homemade, not like other restaurants which they taste similar. I can see why this is the best restaurant in Farnborough, we will be looking at coming back again!

Ive been spoiled with Chinese food, having grown up practising Wing Chun and spending a huge amount of my formative years with Chinese people and I rarely find anywhere outside of London which offers not just the quality of food, but traditional service, right down to the jasmine tea not arriving in a teabag. The food is decent, but given that the restaurant is called Malacca, I expected their Malaysian dishes like sambal prawn and mee goreng to have more flavor; unfortunately, they were a bit bland. While the restaurant is clean and offers a pleasant atmosphere, it could benefit from some softer fabrics or sound dampening. The all-tile and hard surfaces amplify the noise, making it louder than a karaoke lounge. I found it impossible to hear myself, let alone the other people at my table.

I had a wonderful meal with my family—the food was delicious, served hot, and bursting with flavor. The staff were very attentive, always ensuring our drinks were topped up. However, the restaurant felt like it was missing a bit of atmosphere and ambiance, and the chairs could have been more comfortable; I mean, who doesn't love cushions? That said, I left feeling full and enjoyed every bite, except for one orange fish dish, which wasn't to my taste, haha. Overall, make sure to visit; you won't regret it!

Malacca has to be the best South East Asian restaurant I have been to. The food was very fresh, you could tell everything was hand made and not bought from wholesale suppliers. The service was very impeccable and very friendly. The restaurant catered to allergies and took it very seriously, advising me they are very strict, cleaning a section of their kitchen and only allowing certain staff to handle food for the allergy sufferer. I can highly recommend this restaurant if you want genuine south East Asian food (Chinese, Malaysian, Thai, etc). 6* out of 5! We will be back tomorrow! Thank you very much! Voir le carte
