"Booked a table for 6pm and when we arrived we ended up having to wait outside for a table to become available, we also had to wait quite a long time for starters and then for the main courses. However I do believe this was due to them being short a chef and a waiter. The criticism stops there though as the food was delicious, the staff could have not been friendlier and they were always willing to do that little extra (the husband only drinks bitter as larger causes him to bloat...the restaurant doesn't sell bitter but the staff happily brought in some John Smiths for him). After the meal we asked for the bill and were happily surprised at the amount (less than £100 for 6 of us for everything) we took advantage of the 5 course Sunday banquet meal at £7 per head and just added a couple of extra sides. Everyone came home happy and full and I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are wanting a nice Indian meal at the right price."

we regularly go to the maha after we recommended it by friends. I tried several dishes, and all were beautiful. the personal is great. it is not the largest restaurant, so I recommend booking.

Firstly it was delivered exactly at the time we requested, the delivery man was courteous too. The food was packed full of flavour and everything tasted great, we even received free poppadom and dips, a takeaway after my own heart! We did receive a different rice than requested but it tasted good non the less! Only niggle is no take away menu included it would be handy for next time.

Not a very good experience at all. (A) No child highchairs. (B) Some menu options weren't available. (C) Very small place, no table space for large bookings. (D) No card payments, CASH ONLY. (E) Not very aesthetically pleasing. (F) Hygiene isn't the best. The food was quite nice, and the staff were polite. However, the poor service and environment ruined it. First and last visit.
