"I have been to this restaurant many times over the last 30 years and enjoy the ambience of the place. However it can be very noisy at times and tables are small and intimate with your neighbours. Sadly on this occasion while the service was good the food quality was poor. My steak tartare was served grey/ brown as if it had been prepared many hours before. My tuna Nicoise was served cold and possibly worst I have ever eaten. My guest ordered the cassoulet as he previously lived in France but was disappointed to receive a poor man’s version of two herb sausages with beans. Push button automated cappuccino’s rounded off the bad experience."

the food and the staff were excellent, but the volume in the restaurant was so loud that we could not hear. it was very difficult to hear the person from me alone at the other end of the table. a lot of screams about noise.

Interesting place obviously more of a lunch spot than dinner as somewhat empty but they had the diners in single area so felt busier than it was. The waiter was really cheerful and could not have been happier to help. Three great meals of three courses thoroughly enjoyed and some very well priced good wine consumed.
