We have persevered out of a sense of loyalty,but tonight is just the limit.We were given a collection time of 40 minutes. After a further 30 minute wait in the shop and a chaotic collection system or lack of it) we bought our cold meal home. Chilli beef with no chile sauce, soggy undercooked chicken, not a good meal for our £40. There are two other Chinese restaurants in Hawkhurst we will be visiting them in future. Such a shame."

Top notch Chinese food, lots of options in Hawkhurst but this is the best. Well cooked and generous. Have tried most of the menu so order what you like and you’ll not be disappointed. Everything is very good.

Does the normal chinese food, but does some speciality items as well. Try the Singapore noodles. Can be a little hit and miss, sometimes really good, other times could be better. Does take away as well. Well worth a try.

Looking forward to a family birthday takeaway last night we had a horrendous meal from Lovely. Every main dish literally tasted like bleach or some kind disinfectant, we couldn't eat it and three most of it away. The chicken balls were the only passable bit. A total waste of £40, we will never ever being going back there again. Soooo disgusting and totally spoilt our evening.

Being vegan isn’t easy. Eating out is heck let alone cooking for a family of vegans non vegans. Hence I was so happy to have my dietary and allergy requirements catered to so very professionally and artfully. Bean Curd? More like my vegan request has ‘Been Heard’ by the excellent staff at Lovely. I can’t wait to gobble up some more Lovely food from your Lovely ‘straunt. Vibes.

In 2018 this was the best Chinese out of the three in Hawkhurst (although the other two were not bad either) however we stopped going about a year ago when there was an apparent change of ownership and a sharp decline in quality. A couple of weeks ago we decided to give it another go and I'm pleased to say that it seems to be back to what we remember. There's a good selection of menu items, good value, and, dare I say, it's lovely again. Menu states they are specialists in Canton Peking cuisine.

Always had good takeaways from here. Recent visit excellent sweet and sour ribs but other dishes the meat was quite dry. Seems a bit hit and miss as to quality and suspect some dishes reheated several times. Bit unprepossessing from the outside and really don't know how they turn out so much, so quickly. Generous portions and quick service. Will use again. Pity there isn't a decent Chinese restaurant to eat in locally now Tenterden restaurant closed. Business opportunity? Shame they don't do Chinese duck in smaller portions any more.
